  1. I'll assume you didn't factory reset after the update?

I haven't factory reset, probably the first time I haven't after an update, and I'm not seeing any of those issues. My B41, B26 is far better. I've certainly haven't had any freezes.

    Maybe try a factory reset?

I also have the NK4 update.  Have not had any issue.  I did clear the cache for all apps though.

The UI seems a little speedier and the battery seems a little better, to me.  I'm not a heavy user throughout the day though.  Data speeds seem to be the same as before.  Also, reception seems to be the same.

  2. 8. in ##3282#  I found a new addition to those settings called "ItsOn"    it is in default of being in the on position,  But its blacked out, so there is no way to turn it off, and when you click more settings it says Intent Set.  So I am not sure what this is if its good or bad? Any opinions on this?  Also noticed LTE band 3 has been removed from Advanced settings.

    That could be this:  http://www.itsoninc.com/news/sprint-selects-itsons-smart-service-virtual-network-technology-to-power-future-no-contract-mobile-services/

  3. With Sprint maps you need to zoom in to the best and fair levels. At the zoomed out levels it shows the combined of all signals, which is greatly inaccurate. Zoomed in and looking at Best coverage actually produces pretty accurate signal coverage to expect. I have been pretty impressed in most areas how accurate the Best coverage is.

I have NOT.  In my area, in some of their "best" LTE coverage, I still drop down to 3G, even when I'm outside.  I think they should drop some of it down to "fair" LTE coverage.

  4. Did they decide not to switch to the 24-month cycle? I used my upgrade on a Note 4 yesterday and now my upgrade date is showing 6/1/16 in my account. I think sticking with the 20-month cycle makes sense for Sprint since it's one of the few perks they still offer that AT&T and Verizon don't.

    Go here:  http://shop.sprint.com/mysprint/shop_landing.jsp?state=phoneoptions&ECID=vanity:upgrade

Then click on "Check eligibility" under the "Upgrade Program" section.  There it confirms what xjr2amt said.  The upgrade time is 24 months now.

  5. I can't believe Samsung screws up something so simple on its phones.  I've got no PCI, no neighbors, and no B41 identification. :(

But I'm very glad to have the update if only for the "strongest signal" fields in the log--that's a huge deal!  I also see the "coming soon" option for a continuous log; also a huge deal.  I can't wait for the next one now!

Does anyone know if the Verizon 4.4.4 update fixed it for those customers?  Trying to figure out if I should be looking forward to 4.4.4 as a fix or not.  Otherwise, maybe 5.0 will help...

And one other thing, is it possible that the next version could clean out all the null entries from the database if that bug really is fixed now?

I have B41 identification.  But no PCI or neighbors.
