Read the post directly above it.
Looks like an unknown or unmatched GCI. Where was it beckley or farther south? Always nice to see new GCIs being found.
Oh sorry, I missed that. My bad.

Thx. I think I know why it's not even showing up on mine. It's b/c I have the phone on airplane mode or b/c I'm using it with no SIM in it.

Oh, well THERE'S your problem. :-)

Friggin Samsung and/or Sprint got rid of the option to restrict background data per app in the Data Usage setting. Such a pointless change.

I still see the Restrict Background Data option under each individual app.

Changelog screenshot? Is that the old April update or the May update?
Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
It's the May update. I already have it installed so I can't get a changelog screenshot. The android security patch level is May 1, 2016.

Update
Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
Just remember to clear you cache and cache partition after all updates. To avoid and/or rule out (not saying you will not have any issues after updates) any issues with that. :-)
At least, that's what I do after every update, big or small.

But I'm Right about it having to be attached to your home broadband correct? If that's true than everyone in the area with sprint would be hogging your home broadband that you pay for. I think I'll stick to my wifi at home and just ok signal outside till they actually expand coverage in my area.
No, small cells aren't connected to "home" broadband connections. The backhaul for them are either a B41 connection to a macro tower OR they pay for a local ISP to provide access to it. The internet connection isn't from anyone's home.

I have a question about this as well. I'm going to assume that these small cells have to be attached to a form of broadband service(time warner, u-verse). If that is the case then what is the point? They don't provide better voice service just data and you already have that with your broadband provider. Plus if the power goes out so does your service. So I'll ask again what is the point? Please if I am wrong someone let me no. I have a 3g airave and it did help with voice coverage.
If you're away from your home, in that area with a small cell, then you get better data coverage.

Turns out to be nothing. They responded to my email and said the power company is just replacing a pole.
False alarm.
-
Have you emailed the city permitting group? They may be able to tell you what is going on there.
No, I didn't even know you could. Thanks, I'll give that a try right now.

It looks like there's a new tower going up close to where I work. There are trucks there with what looks like long mono-pole tower type ....structures. It's right by a powerline tower that's not Sprint's. Hopefully the new tower IS Sprint! Here's the location.

I do believe backhaul pricing and availability has negatively impacted Sprint's growth and profitability. There is no question that supplying backhaul for your competitor (from ATT and Verizon) caused "delays" and price gauging.
I do not believe Tmobile was viewed as a real competitor when they first started deploying fiber and hence wasn't such a big deal, whereas V and ATT clearly saw Sprint as a formidable opponent.
I would disagree that AT&T and VZW didn't see T-Mobile as a real competitor when they deployed fiber, but I could be wrong.

-115 very slow?!?! unless you are in a highly congested area, -115 yields 10mb/s down which is plenty for NetFlix/Youtube/Hulu, etc. I'm a "datahog" due to no high speed internet where i love (30+gb/month) and have no issue with those signals strengths for anything that I do on my phone.
Yeah, I'd agree with you. Where I am right now, I just did a speedtest with -112 B41 signal. Ping: 29, Download: 42Mbps, Upload: 5.5Mbps.

I looks like the coverage map was updated today. I can't tell any differences though.
Another update to the map today.

LTE network now covering 300 Million people. Good to see that. Keep it up.

Why is that so important? I do not think that is one of Sprint's current goals, plain and simple.
So that they can cover more people and with that, they are able to have more customers.
For me, I can have native coverage in more areas. There are areas around here where they have "holes" in coverage. In certain areas, everything around it is covered, but in that area, it's roaming.
Now, I don't travel a lot to areas where they don't have coverage, but when I travel to see my parents, I am roaming all the time I'm there. But that's just me in that case.

I'm ready for Sprint to be able to say they cover 308 million people.

Does anyone know where I can find bluetooth drivers for the GS6 with Android 6? When I try to connect my phone to my PC now, it doesn't work. And I can see 2 bluetooth devices in device manager that need drivers. I'm assuming that's because the phone is using Android 6 now. (It used to work with Android 5). I'm on Windows 7 (64-bit).
Thanks.

Looks like a security update is out for the GS6: https://community.sprint.com/baw/message/1041039#1041039

My Sprint Zone auto-updated yesterday or the day before, and is now fairly thoroughly hosed. I have reported through the app. We shall see if Sprint notices either my report or the problem itself.
Mine was updated last night. It's still working fine.

Mine shows 0 of 0 used. But it also has the red triangle with the exclamation.
Sprint data coverage and no voice coverage

What happens if you are in an area that has Sprint LTE data coverage but there is no Sprint voice coverage? What happens if someone tries to call you in an area like that.
An example area code is 17265.
