Who received an HPUE email from Gunther yesterday?
AJ
I did.

I have not looked real hard at the numbers but how come they had negative cash flow?
Probably all the deals and promotions?

I'm hoping for free Tidal premium plan and discounted Hifi plan. But it will probably end up being something like zero rated and discounts on both plans.

That URL says it's forbidden when I click it.

Oh, ok. I didn't know that.

High performance user equipment, increased power output from your device. You can already download at decent speeds on a weak B41 signal, you just can't upload so usually you're moved off the band. A cell phone with increased output should minimize that occurrence. Band 41 cut off on my device is around -117 dbm, even though I still get downloads of up to 17 mbps and timeout on the upload.
Yeah, all of this sounds like you'll just have a better upload experience. It doesn't sound like it'll "increase" B41 coverage.

T-Mobile published an EOY 2017 expected coverage map today

If it's anything like most of their coverage expansion, it will be poor quality with large site spacing.

Looks impressive.

There's a new update out (G920PVPU4CPL3). In the description on the phone, it says something about "battery usage optimization", along with the usually security updates.

:crickets chirping:
I thought there'd be some interest in the what I thought was a long anticipated development here. Maybe that means Sprint's coverage has become good enough that nobody's concerned about the B26 expansion.
That is most DEFINITELY not the case. They need B26 here. To at least make their coverage map believable.

I have been using the built in service/setting on my Galaxy S7. Phone -> More -> Settings -> "Identify spam numbers".

I need a GS7 then!

I would be cool if Sprint got this feature: http://about.att.com/story/att_call_protect.html

I got the update here about 2 days ago.

The colors have changed on Sprint's coverage map. Also, it's slightly bigger.

Don't recall seeing this discussed before; someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
I was going to up my shared data plan to 6GB this month (my phone started downloading the Nougat update over Sprint without permission, so I'm already at 600MB this month on day two of the billing cycle...), but when I went to look at it, they've raised the prices significantly on them. I'm paying $70 for 3GB. That price is now $80 with auto-pay, $85 without. To go up to 6GB used to be $85, but is now $100 without auto-pay and $95 with it.
Trying to figure out what to do now, because it's obviously designed to make Unlimited more attractive. Doesn't make me a very happy customer, though.

That different than the prices I'm seeing on their website.

Nothing yet here.

My understanding is that 5g is mainly going to use higher frequency spectrum that 2.5.

That was my understanding also. That is why Tmo, AT&T, Vzw have been testing "5G" in frequencies higher than 2.5Ghz.

Did anybody notice that the price of the GS7 and GS7 Edge went up on the Sprint site?

Sprint performed well at the world series..
Check out @Speedtest's Tweet: https://twitter.com/Speedtest/status/795727323148357632?s=09
?? Sprint is not even on the Wrigley Field chart.

What's the point of your unnecessarily snarky response?
It really wasn't meant to be snarky. I'm just glad he has good service where he lives.

Earnings Report for 2nd Quarter of Fiscal Year 2016 is in:

Anyone joining the Conference Call today?
I didn't know they had 10 (that many) 3CA devices available.

Sprint calls are very nearly on par with V. Everywhere I go. Even in the NC mountains. And roaming calls ARE on V. But that is super rare. And quite free. So, what's the issue? Enough said.
Good for you.

I've seen BC10 for 3G service, but I haven't seen B26 LTE yet.
