Who is Cleveland's vendor?
Samsung, I believe.
-
From my findings that low latency is coming from Sprint's band 25/26. I have rarely seen band 41 below 60ms even on nokia equipment. When band 41 becomes more widely available I believe Sprints download will increase and ping will get worse.
The B41 speeds test here are consistently in the 20s or low 30s ms. And that's with a around -114 B41 signal strength.

In my market (Cleveland/Youngstown, OH), there's already interference in excess of FCC guidelines for at least two stations in my region, so the only option really left is either sharing of channels, which means less bandwidth, or find out how to make VHF, especially LOW VHF, work well for digital television. This is why I'm critical of this "incentive auction".
I'm interested in this also. Sometimes we have problems getting certain channels (the channel varies). I wonder if it's from this "interference".

can you successfully access @ http://ipv6test.google.com via ip6?
I can. It says "Yes, looks like you're using IPv6 already".

No IPv6 here.
I now have ipv6 here with my GS6.

55051 here also, GS6.

Maybe for like $20 off my monthly bill.

What I mean is that for TDD configuration, they take a certain portion of their 20Mhz to uplink, I think it is a 3/2 configuration? So roughly 12Mhz on the download and 8Mhz on the upload? Which means in 20+20 CA, it'd be 24Mhz on the download, and 16 Mhz on the upload, whereas B4 is often 20x20, where 20 is dedicated to the downlink and 20 is dedicated to the uplink.
And I think for now, they are not doing CA on the uplink (yet).

Crazy.
Also, my phone drops LTE at around -117 or so, don't think I've ever seen it hold on as low as -122
Yeah, I've seen my B41 get to about -125 before it drops (to 3G or no signal). I wish it would drop around -122, b/c at that point it's like dialup.
-
You sure that's b41? The documented issues with b41 are pretty established.
My b41 at those levels is almost unusable.

According to Signal Check Pro, it's band 41.

Moved recently and in the last week or so my phone has suddenly decided it likes the b41 at -111 or worse (useless signal on this phone) better than it does the b26 at -107 (which is usable).
This phone, with its poor b41 performance as well as bad battery life due to ram management, has been a disappointment.

Interesting. I just did a speed test with my GS6 on B41 at -112 here and I got a ping of 30ms with speeds of 43/7 Mbps. So for me, -111 is more than enough. Now for me, around -122 is where it starts to be useless.

Why would you not want TEP? Especially on a leased phone.
I have never had any phone that I have owned lost or stolen. I'm pretty good at maintaining my phone and the case and screen protector that I have one it should cover any little accidents.
-
Back on iPhone 6 release day I was halfway through a transaction when they tried to tell me TEP was mandatory after I noticed and confronted him about what he was trying to get me to blindly sign for (on an iPhone nonetheless). Then I confronted him about that and he said "you can just call customer service when you get home and have them remove it". I walked out before I turned into one of those irate customers that destroys everything in the store.
That's what started the train for me leaving 7 months later. So they ultimately lost two lines partly because of that. (It was a corporate store).
I'm sure many others have left for the same reason.
I recently (in December) leased a GS6, and I was told the same thing. I had to have the TEP on there. And she told me to call to get it removed. She said they would ask a lot of questions of why I wanted it removed when I called.
I just went home and removed it online. No big deal to me.
Also, I traded in my old phone (GS5), which they said was worth about $95. They wouldn't let me put the whole amount back on my account as credit. I had to spend at least half of it in the store right then. So I got a case and screen protector for the phone.

"30 GB+ 4G LTE data-only plan (with no throttling, suspension or overage charges after 30 GB"
Which is just a long way of saying an unlimited plan? What is the significance of even saying 30 gigs?
Maybe it's throttled to 2G/3G after the 30 GB?

iPhone Forever got an overhaul:
Link: http://www.sprint.com/landings/iphone-forever/index_p.html
18 Month Lease Term is the only option.
Now requires making 12 payments to upgrade. You can accelerate your payments to upgrade sooner.
For Current Customers: If you joined iPhone Forever before 1/8/16, you can upgrade to a new iPhone whenever it's released.
So, do you know if you signed up for iPhone Forever before (when it was $15 a month), when you upgrade (to iPhone 7), will you continue to pay the $15 a month and can upgrade again whenever the next iPhone (iPhone 7S) comes out?

I'm in the Landerhaven area (Cedar Road and Lander Road) area (Mayfield Heights). In this building, I usually get a fair Sprint B41 signal at my desk, by the window and a weak Clearwire B41 signal a little deeper into the building.
Now, I don't seem to be picking up any B41 at all. Has anybody else noticed that? Does anybody know of any work going on in the area. I now get a strong B25 signal by the window and a weak B25 deeper in the building. Weak B25 sucks, by the way. Might as well switch it to 3G. A lot of timeouts.
Also, in other areas of Cleveland, I pick up B41 just fine.

When you click the "Learn More" link by the Introducing LTE Plus label on their coverage map (with Enhanced LTE selected), it now show what markets LTE Plus is available in (currently 103 markets).

I wonder for the BYOD or pay full price upfront guys, how much do they usually pay for their phones? And what type of phones do they buy?
-
Sprint updated the wording on their coverage map. Spark is now showing as "Enhanced LTE". It says this includes their tri-band network, which isn't always the case (ex Cleveland market).
-
I'm still on a ED450 plan so I voted 2-year contract. I typically upgrade at Best Buy and use gift cards I save up from birthday/holiday gifts and by the time I upgrade I usually have enough to cover most, if not all, of the upfront cost of the phone.
Hey, I'm also on the ED450 plan. But I upgraded with last Friday's upgrade day to a GS6 with a lease.
-
I do lease because I would want a new phone every 2 years anyway. So why not pay a reduced price for it. Plus, there's no money upfront.
