  1. Is LTE 800 deployed in the SF Bay area (especially South SF near SFO)? Heading up to SF in the next 2 weeks and would like to know.
  2. Is Seattle getting any LTE 800 love or is Canadian IBEZ still blocking those frequencies from being deployed?
  3. I know all us S4GRU nerds really want to know is if he used SignalCheck Pro to see if he was on B41 getting 2xCA or 3xCA LTE. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  4. The drive on the 15 interstate between Barstow and Las Vegas blows for LTE. Sprint still has a lot of work to do to upgrade all those sites to LTE. Also it would help if by the time those sites get upgraded to LTE that Sprint can deploy LTE 800 on those remote sites as well.
  5. Actually I would love to see Sprint surpass Tmobile by offering 384 kbps or 512 kbps international roaming speeds. But I would hope at the very least match the 256 kbps international roaming speeds like Tmobile One+ plans.
  6. I absolutely do know that it is the deadline but who the hell is going to hold them accountable? What happens if they don't meet their deadline? The FCC in the past has shown leniency time and time again. By the way, I used to think that was the deadline but if you see the agreement below it doesn't say anything that it has to be done by then. Its just means that there is no incentive after Jan 2017 but it seems like SB county doesn't give a rip about incentives anyway. https://m.reddit.com/r/Sprint/comments/44210d/sprint_800mhz_question/?ref=readnext
  7. What are people's thoughts on the Tmobile One + plans?
  8. I wish Sprint would double the Sprint Global Roaming 2G rates for those with the Sprint Unlimited Freedom Premium to match the Tmobile One + plan.
  9. Nope ain't gonna happen. San Bernardino county won't allow it since they are very inefficient. They work slower than any organization in the world. My guess is that So Cal won't get B26 LTE for another 1-2 years.
  10. Hopefully all of Las Vegas will be flooded with B26 LTE before the end of 2017 especially on The Strip and McCarran Airport.
  11. Do u have a link to that frequency reconfiguration agreement? Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  12. I would like to see B25 + B26 CA together on Sprint when the next LTE release is made available. Unfortunately B26 LTE by itself is way too slow to be optimal and gives customers a very bad impression. Tmobile does B4 + B12 CA and I think it has worked out well. I don't know how the propagation characteristics work out when you combine low band and mid band spectrum. Does the LTE signal have the propagation as if it is low band, mid band or in between?
  13. Sprint is not even close to being ready to launch VoLTE nationwide. The Sprint LTE network still needs lots and lots of work before even considering VoLTE. Once Sprint has a tens of thousands of small cells up and running as well as upgrading as many macro sites with all 3 LTE bands can they start to think about VoLTE.
  14. I am getting really pissed at SB county for delaying their clearance of the 800 MHz spectrum for PS to make way for LTE 800 in LA/OC counties. I am not hopeful that SB county will clear as specified in their contract by end of Jan 2017. Month after month there doesn't seem to be any progress on the 800 MHz clearing in SB county.
  15. Which part in the photo is the Nokia Flexi Zone "Mini-Macro" 2x20 W BTS?
  16. Not any time soon. I fully expect SB county to wait until the deadline before rebanding but who knows what happens if they dont meet their deadline yet again. The FCC has been way too lenient on SB county and needs to enforce very harsh penalties for not adhering to their agreements. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  17. The latest sprint and SB county agreement is that everything needs to be rebanded by end of Jan 2017 with no incentives. SB county already missed the boat on the june 2016 incentives. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  18. Uhh...how does this affect LA/OC county again? The article seems to relate along the IBEZ area which is around the san diego and southeast part of SB county. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  19. If sprint can deploy 800 cdma on every tower that they can it will help with voice coverage/capacity and provide an additonal 1x advanced carrier tto deploy 4x usage to help shut down a 1x carrier at 1900 mhz Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  20. I dont blame ya. Sprint has still not been able to deploy 800 mhz CDMA and LTE for the most part thanks to SB county. So Cal desperately needs that 7x7 sliver of 800 mhz spectrum to deploy a 5x5 LTE and a CDMA carrier to help with coverage indoors and to provide some additional capacity for data and voice. Having CDMA 800 deployed on every tower everywhere will help sprint to consider shutting down some CDMA carriers to free up more spectrum for LTE. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  21. See that is the problem. Instead of trying to find ways to screw the current loyal customers they need to find ways after the 50% off promo ends to attract new customers and/or convince current customers why its a better idea to switch to the newer plans. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  22. Once again Sprint was late to the party and missed out on a great opportunity for realignment on their main spectrum band. I guess I attribute that to the poor Sprint management with Hesse or Claure for not thinking ahead.
  23. I guess Sprint can't ask the other carriers to do PCS spectrum swaps to obtain more of the C block spectrum? It would be nice if Sprint could get most of the major markets with the C block spectrum so that it can align with the G block spectrum.
  24. So in these can antennas, are the RRUs, microwave backhaul, etc all inside the can antennas. Where are the guts of a small cell setup like they are doing with Mobilite in LA Metro?
  25. Sprint has been selling 1xAdvanced devices since 2011 really. Even the old Wimax devices had 1xAdvanced on them. To me, I would expect the majority of phones that exist on the Sprint network currently should be 1xAdvanced capable. I feel that it is time for Sprint to start imploring the full 1xAdvanced capabilities especially for capacity purposes so that more spectrum is freed up for LTE.
