  2. That is the cost here in San Diego from AT&T and Cox. Have delivered 50/50Mbps to several clients. Maybe cheaper for Sprint since they ordering wholesale bulk.
  3. Why only 20/50Mbps?? They can do 50/50Mbps which will cost around $1400/month. Legacy sites average 6xT1s which cost about that much.
  4. Where is your source for 20-50Mbps. Thought I saw someone posted they deploying min 100Mbps per site.
  5. haha i mean iDEN to CDMA conversion. Thought Sprint is not converting as many, but big cities like San Diego are seeing some.
  6. We have noticed many iDEN conversion to CDMA in San Diego. Why is that? Is it possible now that areas that has no Sprint service will get an iDEN conversion? Maybe new plans from Softbank?
  7. On going major project. Sprint is replacing everything. Most likely over 75% completed throughout the US by end of 2013. I believe this week they reached milestone of over 50% completion.
  8. We were in the same boat for San Diego market with 3G accepted work in 4th quarter 2012. On the sponsor maps, Phoenix has many sites 3G accepted. It is a matter of plugging in the 100Mbps+ fiber from Cox or CenturyLink. My prediction will be summer 2013 you will start seeing sites with 4G LTE. Cox and CenturyLink are faster than AT&T when it comes to delivering the back-haul. This a comparison of Cox and AT&T in San Diego market. If we had more Cox fiber area's, I think we would had more LTE sites live.
  9. http://blogs.wsj.com/moneybeat/2013/06/26/dish-capitulates-in-clearwire/?KEYWORDS=sprint Dish announced it is pulling its offer for Clearwire Corp.

  11. Sprint stockholders will have the option to elect to receive cash in the amount of $7.65 or one of New Sprint common stock for each share of Sprint common stock owned by them (subject to the previously disclosed proration provisions in the merger agreement). Does it make sense to receive cash at $7.65? Sprint is trading under $7.00.
  12. More than 2 billion shares 80 percent in favor of Softbank. The deal is closed!
  13. What was the reason for Clearwire to deply TDD? was it because China/Japan? If Clearwire were deploying 20 Mhz FDD would they be looking at speeds above 100Mbps?
  14. We hope that is the case throughout all big cities. It will be night and day for Sprint, people will realize shit I am paying more than Sprint with slower speeds with CAP! This is why it is important for Sprint to keep unlimited data.
  15. The document was signed in May 2013. Pretty sure something will kick off soon.
  16. Having that speed will change their marketing strategies. How does it sound when everyone says "the fastest LTE Network in America and its unlimited" Right now Sprint is known as unlimited and unusable.
