  1. Sounds like 100Mbps should cost at least $2000+/month.
  2. $1500 was price for 50Mbps/50Mbps we recently installed for a client. I would assume Sprint would start out with at least 50Mbps/50Mbps for their cell sites. I don't know the exact details but I will ask when AT&T installs their equipment for one site that we know of that is in progress. Maybe they will tell me 500Mbps. Who knows. Maybe Robert knows. AT&T has their wholesale services which would fall in the category for Sprint. http://www.business.att.com/wholesale/Service/data-networking-wholesale/metro-services-wholesale/sonet-wholesale/ I know they can deliver 1Gbps or 10Gbps if needed.
  3. Cox 10Mbps/10Mbps fiber is $1100. http://ww2.cox.com/business/sandiego/data/pricing.cox Now do you go with 50 or 10? If you go with AT&T for 50Mbps you have to wait it out average 6 months (their ordering process takes forever). Most of the time AT&T has to delivery fiber for Cox from our experience installing Cox fiber to our clients. Those orders from Cox took 3-6 months average depending on location.
  4. I think it is the iPhone My EVO LTE getting at least 20Mbps at most LTE sites in San Diego.
  5. We have seen 50Mbps/50Mbps fiber from AT&T for $1500 3 year contract. I am pretty sure others are not as competitive. Cox in San Diego utilizes AT&T fiber also. I don't know who can beat that price? Time Warner is north of the 8 and south bay. AT&T is citywide with all the fiber
  6. There should be more sites going live in Mission Valley soon. Majority of them are waiting on AT&T fiber installs. AT&T dragging their feet on many sites in San Diego. It sux for Sprint to depend on fiber from their competitor. Welcome 4G LTE to Mission Valley! Getting average 25Mbps+ at this site.
  7. Sprint Considers Delaying June 12 Vote on SoftBank Deal... OMG! No More Delays! http://www.bloomberg.com/news/print/2013-06-04/sprint-said-to-consider-delaying-softbank-vote-to-give-dish-time.html
  8. Crest Financial Demands That Sprint Allow Clearwire to Pursue a Competitive Bidding Process. LOL http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/crest-financial-demands-that-sprint-allow-clearwire-to-pursue-a-competitive-bidding-process-209941181.html
  9. We will only know on Friday if Clearwire will vote in favor of the $3.40 best offer by Sprint or they will play hard ball which Softbank had said will not allow Clearwire into bankruptcy. November is only 5 months out. How much will it cost Softbank to keep Clearwire alive for 5 months?
  10. Link is no good. Try this: http://www.4-traders.com/DISH-NETWORK-CORP-4870/news/DISH-Network-Corp-DISH-Network-Announces-Tender-Offer-in-Letter-to-Clearwire-Board-of-Directors-16915476/ What is up with this. This is bad for Sprint which Clearwire is set to vote this Friday.

  13. Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S., Bloomberg News reported Tuesday, citing a person familiar with the matter. The person told Bloomberg that the CFIUS, Softbank and Sprint reached an agreement after the deal was reviewed. 15. What is the likely hood of getting a smart phone that supports all three LTE 800, 1900 and 2500 this September?
  16. FYI for peeps with Clearwire stock. http://allthingsd.com/20130521/sprint-ups-bid-for-clearwire-to-outbid-dish-network/?KEYWORDS=Clear
  17. They had chosen WiMax because that was the tech which was available at that time. Sprint will have more capacity when they finish obtaining Clearwire.
  18. Does anyone know if NV has been completed on the Santa Catalina Island?
  19. FYI. http://www.softbanksprinttransaction.com/
  20. not always the case. in san diego many sites are within 1 mile apart and you can be getting LTE signal from a farther tower.
  21. Yup, 4-5 towers in between the 5 and 805 hasn't been touch in San Ysidro. There are many completed sites with 4G along Palm Ave though. It is getting closer to San Ysidro. Maybe it is in progress. Same in Paradise Hills this month with no activity. The whole area is now 4G this weekend. Become a Premier Sponsor, you will get access to maps with the exact locations of the towers near your area. You can drop by those sites to see if there are any activities.
  22. I'm curious is this phone unlocked by default?
  23. Where is your company located? In Clairemont Mesa/Balboa its covered, in Mira Mesa/Miramar its covered with LTE. Just last week we had no LTE in Paradise Hills. This weekend all covered with LTE We almost jumped ship to Verizon too, but knowing that Sprint is upgrading all towers it will only get better and will be comparable to Verizon or better. Just remember Verizon had only upgraded some towers to LTE where Sprint is upgrading all towers where possible.
