  1. Which plan do you have? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. They have done that with other products. And I think from their standpoint selling phones outright is way more lucrative then leasing or giving free loans. Both of which come with latent overhead. It's the phone turnover that has made them so much money. Existing users buying the latest version year after year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Hey now lets not lose our PG-13 rating. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I had meetings during the actual event so I had to read all the recaps. I'm happy with the improvements. Especially the bands and CA. New 3d touch and camera upgrades are nice. I'm not happy with the pricing. I thought Apple could have said 'hey we understand contracts are going away so we are going to discount the prices by $50 to $100 for full purchase price'. They have done this in the past with their other products. Also not happy with no distinct battery improvement. I'm also a little disappointed by the Apple TV. I think Apple could have offered some kind of bundled streaming package to include ESPN, HBO, Hulu, and Netflix, all billed through Apple at a reduced rate. I suppose that would have taken some serious negotiations but again Apple has a built in ecosystem of customers to use as a bargaining chip. And why have two storage models? Aren't the games streamed as well? Maybe that was a rumor. iPad Pro...meh. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I should have added this to my initial post but I really didn't point this article out to show that Verizon was ahead of the '5G' game or anything. The one thing I did find interesting is that they do have mud-on-the-wall deployment date of less than 2 years out. How does this line up with Sprint's '5G' deployment timeline, if that has even been released?
  6. Morning ePenis wood brought to you by Verizon 5G testing: http://9to5mac.com/2015/09/08/verizon-5g-faster-than-google-fiber/
  7. I confirmed tonight that the latest PRL update downgraded Bluegrass Cellular from native to extended: Below is the link to the post where I announced the past PRL update marked BGC as native Sprint: http://www.s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/6646-CCA-RRPP-live-date%3F/page__view__findpost__p__419716 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I'm assuming your bill total would deduct from the credit balance until it's gone but it would be nice to only deduct a certain amount from the credit each month. Like a lease fee [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Just FYI Sprint is giving $350 trade in credit value for that model right now. That's not bad to put toward your phone bill. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. You would think Verizon would have done/will do something like this and associate it with the Moto Droid line.
  11. It would be $9 for the 16 GB Plus model and $13.77 for the 64 GB model. Since there is no 128 GB option right now I don't know what the price would be iPhone forever after loyalty credit. I chatted with a Sprint rep yesterday and was told you can upgrade to another storage size after the 6S/6S Plus and still retain the Forever and Loyalty discounts. So you could get the 16 GB now and when the 6S comes out, upgrade to the 64 or 128 GB later.
  12. I'm not asking to load custom PRL. I'm just curious about the changes to the PRL. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Let me clarify then. Prior to the most recent PRL update BG was showing as native Sprint on my phone and I hadn't seen extended on my phone for quite a while in my area. And who said anything about hacked PRL? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I saw something on my iPhone that I hadn't seen in my area in a while...Extended. It was brief but in a spot that used to be native roaming. I hope this recent PRL update for my phone didn't downgrade Bluegrass Cellular to roaming. How close are the iPhone PRLs to the ones for Android that can be easily downloaded and parsed? 15. All of this new stuff TMobile is coming out with sounds like iMessage and Facetime to me. I'm sure it will be more readily available on multiple devices instead of just one (i.e. iPhones), but I don't see Apple implementing this either so it will just be an Android on TMobile thing.
  16. I don't know what to do! Lease, easy pay, or straight up buuuuuuuuuuuyyyyy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I suppose I could also get a cheap Android phone like someone did in the iPhone 6 thread and turn that in: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/6407-iphone-6-and-iphone-6-plus-user-thread/page-183&do=findComment&comment=439497
  18. Thanks for the clarification. Looks like getting an iPhone 6 Plus and then upgrading to an iPhone 6s Plus for only $9 a month isn't a bad deal. Something I might consider.
  19. Does the $10 come off the $15 trade-in price for say an iPhone 6 16GB? Making it $5 a month? And then turn right around when the iPhone 6S comes out I can turn in the iPhone 6 and get the new one for $5 a month again? The 6 Plus 16 GB shows as being $19 a month for iPhone for life with trade in. So I'm guessing that would end up costing $9 a month after the loyalty discount.
  20. Interesting, my Sprint online account shows that my two phones that are subsidized are available for lease upgrade, even for iPhone for life plan. I'm 12 months into my subsidized agreement as of this month. I am on ED, wonder if there is a loyalty discount still available.
  21. 55028 now on iPhone 6. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Stupid question but would this be on a normal Sprint band (25/26/41)? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. If you want a case for that iPhone 6s that's not out yet... http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=as_li_ss_tl?_encoding=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&field-keywords=iphone%206s%20case&linkCode=ur2&tag=benjmayo-20&url=srs%3D5299909011%26search-alias%3Dspecialty-aps&linkId=RC2GTPZ4T2XPH42L Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
