  1. Unfortunately the issue is real. I switched to LTE/CDMA for my network mode and that seemed to help a bit but still not back to what it used to be before the update. It almost seems like they messed with the priority and have the phone connect to and stay on 3G if its any amount of a stronger signal than LTE.
  2. I checked it again today and it no longer shows it as requiring an update. Thanks.
  3. I got the Sprint Zone update already. Attached is what I see.
  4. What's even more curious is that the Sprint Zone app is telling me that I need to "Update Now" even though it shows the current ZVD build number. Wonder if that has to do with the incorrect baseband.
  5. FYI regarding the ZVD issue with switching back to LTE from 3G, I decided to switch my network mode from global to LTE/CDMA and it seems a bit better. In some areas I was at today it still took a while to switch over to LTE. I'm going to adjust the LTE scan timer again and see if that gets it back to normal.
  6. That's what mine does. But when I travel to an area that I previously had great LTE signal strength it will just stay on 3G until I cycle airplane mode. General users are not going to know to do this and will try to blame Sprint for it.
  7. I'm experiencing the same issue. After the update my phone almost acts like its afraid of LTE. Even seems to connect to 800 CDMA less as well. I've tried updating my profile and the LTE scan timer trick to no avail. [emoji27][emoji24]
  8. Yeah I figured that one out when I named the other B26 tower I previously logged at my house. SCP logged the new B26 hit with no name. That's how I figured out it was new. I live in the sticks so I'm very pleased I'm receiving B26 from 2 different towers.
  9. Thanks! My SCP logs show a new B26 entry at my house and I'm just curious if it came from a tower that previously logged B25.
  10. I apologize if this has already been asked before but can the GCI/PCI/TAC codes be used to determine if B25 and B26 is coming from the same tower?
  11. I do not always like posts. But when I do, I really mean it.
  12. I am very interested in Bluegrass Cellular's involvement in this. Where I live in Central Kentucky they have a huge LTE presence and curiously enough the iPhone 5S model used for Sprint is the same model listed on Apple's site that supports Bluegrass Cellular for supported LTE and not the Verizon model. It would be nice if Sprint and BC executed a roaming agreement and hopefully would only require a iPhone update to allow for roaming.
  13. Like I said, stupid question. I suppose once the roaming agreements are in place we will have a better understanding of what bands Sprint will be roaming on and then be able to match up current device capabilities with those bands.
  14. OK stupid question time. I've skimmed through pretty much all the entries on this thread and have seen some mentioning of requiring new devices in order to support Band 12 and maybe a few other bands, but lets say RRPP members and Sprint switch on LTE roaming today. I'm sure its dependent upon the LTE setup of each of the RRPP members, but what current devices, if any, would be able to take advantage of the roaming?
  15. Yeah well I don't get out much. Only one tower that my phone has detected it on between Louisville and Hardin county area. But i believe I've read somewhere on this forum that most phones still favor 1900 cdma over 800 cdma. Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
  16. There is a tower broadcasting CDMA 800 in Radcliff Ky. I confirmed i connected driving home from work by looking at my SignalCheck logs. Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
  17. When I started getting B25 in my area without CSFB issues I assumed I was in the clear to upgrade to KK. Doh! Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
  18. Apparently they have eCSFB deployed in Louisville. I was getting B26 in the St Mathews area on my LG G2 yesterday. Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
  19. Oops sorry for the double post. Tapatalk originally show me a server connection error. Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
  20. Saw a post a while back about an update that was supposed to start rolling out on 3/31 ( http://support.sprint.com/support/article/Find_and_update_the_software_version_on_your_LG_G2/WServiceAdvisory_542_GKB55011?question_box=lg%20g2%20update&id16=lg%20g2%20update). I haven't seen the update yet but I'm curious why the Sprint site says its version ZVB when I've been running ZVC for a while. Are their version #s messed up or something? 22. I've been a voyeur of this site for a few months and decided to join. Yay me! I'm seeing B26 show up in the Western Kentucky market (why wife's iPhone 5S shows it in the field test screen). However I'm experiencing the CSFB issue on my LG G2 ever since B26 started showing up, but B25 has been deployed for quite a while with no CSFB issue. Why is it that the same CSFB fix for B25 on a tower wouldn't apply to the B26 equipment on that same tower? And yes I'm an Apple Fan Boy as my username implies and yet I have an LG G2...because it has a bigger screen.
