  1. Wired internet providers like Comcast are starting to have caps as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. It didn't happen with my previous router but then again it wasn't dual channel. But also not going to argue that the iPhone isn't the issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Got my router and installed it but have been noticing after turning my phone screen on after it hasn't been used for several minutes the phone is not connected to wifi and then suddenly reconnects after a few seconds. Has anyone noticed this issue? I have an iPhone 6. Not sure if its an iPhone issue or the router. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Third time was the charm for me. A big thank you to Sarah from the OKC call center. She knew all about it and ordered it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I just called the same number again and the guy said it would not be available for 1-2 weeks but that I qualify for one. He said he was in the Florida call center. WTH! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I just tried the number and had no luck. I will try again tomorrow. The person I talked to said it was saying coming soon in her system. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. That would be 800 mhz LTE. What some consider Spark is band 41. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. Yes. Dial this number and press send: *3001#12345#* Then select serving cell info. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. One would think that but I've experienced choppy audio and I have 60 mbps download speeds and never experienced choppy audio with my Airave on the same ISP. I think they are still working the bugs out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. No more Airave for me if this works out! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I just performed an update and now my iPhone 6 is on 51105 from 51104. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Was your contract up and did you get an email or cold call customer service? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Anyone seeing anymore info as to when the IPhone 6 will get wifi calling?. I remember reading something about a Sprint exec saying within 60-90 days but that was late last year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I've had issues after the full release as well. Was trying to watch a game on ESPN via the Sling app on my Roku and it was buggy and erroring out. I ended up watching the game via the WatchESPN app on Roku using my Sling credentials. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Amazon Fire TV added with an offer: http://blog.sling.com/announcements/sling-tv-meets-amazon-fire-tv/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. http://blog.roku.com/blog/2015/02/09/sling-tv-now-available-in-the-u-s-channel-store/ The last paragraph shows they are planning on adding even more channels to their core package. Nice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. You also have to consider you will be paying for that internet service anyway. As well this is not a replacement for all things TV. Consider this, in order to get all the Disney (XD, Jr) and ESPN (2, News, SEC, etc.) channels in HD with either cable or satellite you have to pay for a step or two above their base tier. And with satellite its only cheap for the first year. After that your bill goes up. So you could be paying $140+ a month for internet and TV just to get those channels after all the promotions expire. Right now with Sling TV, Hulu Plus, OTA antenna, and internet I'm running at about $90 a month and no contract. As always its not for everyone. I would rather pay a little for what little I watch then pay a lot more just to watch a little more.
  19. I have the 50 mbps tier but using WIFI currently to stream from my Roku and only experienced minimal issues and I think those were attributed to too many WIFI devices streaming at the same time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I saw others mention this is another thread but I thought I would create one just for Sling TV here. I got fed up with Comcast continuously raising service and rental rates for devices they never upgrade and other issues I have with them. So I cut off the TV service, kept their fast internet, and went to antenna for local channels and bought an Apple TV to use Hulu Plus as my "DVR". I started having withdrawals for my sports and my kids started missing their Disney so when I got the invite for Sling TV I returned my Apple TV and bought a Roku 3. Right now its not supported by Apple TV. It's good but can be better and all the talk is that it will. You can only stream on one device at a time but when I signed up the sales agent told "for right now". There is not a lot of on demand programming available for the stations you subscribe to but all talk the I've heard is that there will be similar to what you will get on cable on demand. Another limitation is you can't log into the Disney channel apps on a mobile device yet with your sling account but eventually I believe you will. All in all I'm pretty satisfied and expect improvement soon and the good thing is if I'm not happy I can downgrade my package or cancel at anytime. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I'm pretty happy with our MagicJack. They have a new model now where it does not have to connected to a computer and it's the cheapest besides Ooma. Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
  22. Hate to burst your bubble but don't count on 8.2 to include wifi calling. I believe it will be mostly health kit and Apple Watch related updates. Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
  23. https://halfprice.sprint.com Is it that it doesn't cut his bill down enough because the offer does apply to Verizon. Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
  24. So I see in my crystal ball...T-Mobile Cup Series. Just because. Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
