For those that might have taken advantage of the Sprint iPhone trade in offer for lease/installment credits to get their 7/7+, have you started receiving your monthly credits yet after sending in your old iPhone?

I was told by a Sprint rep that the installment payments would not start until the new phones were activated and sure enough right after I activated the phones the installment payments showed up on my account. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ordered mine late afternoon on the 9th from Sprint. The UPS package alert showed up before the order status changed on Sprint's site.

Bit late but 2 Black iPhone 7 Plus 128 GB ordered on 24 month installment. Ship by date of 9/30. However I'm not getting a warm and fuzzy on how the trade in for the credit is going to work and there doesn't seem to be any FAQ related to the process. I'm assuming I'll need to request a shipping package to mail the current phones to Sprint for the trade in credit but I'd rather take them to a corp store if possible.

The fine print does not mention anything about plan restrictions and this appears to be an installment plan not a lease.

Just weighing in with my thoughts. I believe the consistency issue with Sprint is related to data speeds and not coverage. Given Sprint's native coverage along with its roaming partners, there are a whole lot more areas Sprint covers where tmobie doesn't than vice versa. However, even in my area I can go from 100 mbps download speed on one tower and the next tower down the road only get 5 mbps. Now to the general user, as long as emails/texts/Facebook/Snapchat/etc. load timely they may not notice a difference.

I was just thinking, isn't this the first new iPhone model to come out with the iPhone Forever program being out for a year+ or was that the 6s? What I'm getting at is this the first model where a majority of the iPhone Forever subscribers will be executing their option to trade up for the first time? And won't they see an increase in the lease fee given a promotion expiring once they trade their other iPhones in? Just curious.

I was in Best Buy looking at cheap phones for my oldest. They have a deal right now where you can get the SE 16 GB for $9.99 for 24 months on Easy Pay after some kind of credit that gets applied by Sprint on your bill each month. Effectively making the phone $240 once paid off. The 64 GB model is $14.17 a month after the discount. Those are not bad deals for an iPhone and you own the phone after 2 years.
