ehhhhh.. it could be better. There's a B41 site less than a quarter mile from my apartment building and it still drops off when I go inside. But I guess that's what I get by choosing to live in an all concrete structure. Positive= no hurricane penetration. Negative= poor TD-LTE signal propagation -
I just picked up 200 shares of $S, I have a good feeling about the merger talks tomorrow and the progress of NV going into the rest of the year. Also writing options, if any of ya'll are interested Anyone else holding any positions? I feel like Sprint could run up above $10 if the merger talks are positive and NV continues on schedule. Softbank/Son aren't playing any games here, they're in it to win it.

Campus WiFi barely works. Luckily in the building I have 3/6 of my classes in (MSB) I get full LTE signal. But WiFi and cell signal in the business admin buildings suck hardcore

I'm running .23 and can connect just fine down in Orlando. Will .23 not allow B41 connections in Chicago?

How you all doing up there in the cold, Chicago? Think your speeds and SNR values will start increasing with the temperature? I'm looking forward to coming back in May, hopefully to see an additional PCS LTE carrier and B26 LTE. Think this is a reasonable wish?

Update on the site on the north side of UCF- They're beginning to install a bunch of equipment in the new shelter and have been doing a heck of a lot of digging around there. No indication that it is for Sprint however.. But I'm still hoping they will dust off those NV panels and RRU's that where installed back in August and fire that thing up by the end of the month so we can get decent B25 LTE around here. Even with 3 accepted B41 towers on campus I still lose LTE more than I would like when I go inside.

The Spark update for me probably won't make much of a difference as well. As long as I do a PRL update after a reboot or signal reset my phone has no issues connecting to B41. I'm expecting the same when B26 comes around. However I'm not sure how it will be once I leave the Orlando Market as I wasn't able to connect at all in Chicago a few months ago (but that was before I knew about the PRL trick)

I think Sprint really needs to revamp their marketing campaign once they reach that key 250 million pop number. With Network Vision nearing completion I definitely think they need to re-establish themselves in the market to change public perception of the company, which still is not very good. Most people have no idea what is going on within the NV program and a marketing campaign that features the kind of information shown in the above video will go along way in terms of convincing people that it is a reliable network built for the future.

Ah yeah I heard that. I wish I could flash one of the sponsor PRL's to see if there is anything being tested. I just can't figure out for the life of me how to flash a custom PRL on the Nexus 5 without spending 3 hours doing it

Speed tests for me on B25 have been lackluster the past few weeks. Been pulling 2.3 down and 2.0 up on average, even in good signal coverage areas with multiple accepted towers. I hope Sprint can deploy another 5x5 PCS carrier in Orlando, I'm beginning to think we are having capacity issues. But then again I know we're not a complete market yet! I just hope things get better before they get worse with just the single carrier deployed. Also, Out of curiosity, have there been any 1x800 spotted out in the wild in this market? I saw it once about 8 months ago but since then, nothing..
