  1. Once my speeds git 600kbps on 3G I an happy. I only stream YouTube when I am home on WiFi, but I browse the internet on my phone all of the time. I dontneven use my Airave anymore because my 700kbps to 1.8Mbps speeds are sufficient for me. That's why I never switched to T-Mobile. Besides that they also suffer from dropped calls all over the place on NYC.
  2. You might have to update your device list because it says that you have an iPhone 4S.
  3. That's only half true. On Sensorly there is a purple glitch on Coney Island yet there was a report that there was no more 4G after a couple of days.
  4. I understand that what I'm saying is most likely not true but at the same time, we can't say for certain that there won't be any outliers as Network Vision is not complete.
  5. True but there can always be an outlier. We are, after all Sprint's largest market.
  6. As far as I know, people have reported a few towers in Brooklyn and then suddenly the tower isn't on. Probably gearing up for that NYC announcement.
  7. The fact of the matter though, is that they are two seperate markets. If you were a sponsor, you'd see that it's clearly defined that Long Island is not part of the New York market.
  8. No one is saying you shouldn't stream on your phone, it just makes sense to realize that unlimited data is a privilege even when you are paying for it. When you stream constantly over your cellular network while you have WiFi, and then complain when you have slow speeds, that is just not right in my opinion.
  9. It has been going on since before the release of the Droid Incredible 4G LTE which came out sometime early last year.
  10. On all of their newer Android phones, their is a notification that doesn't go away that can't be removed. It tells you when there is WiFi near by, even if you turn the radio off. Its quite annoying.
  11. I just don't want them to pull a Verizon and constantly have a WiFi notification in the Notification Bar.
  12. Remember to offload. Whenever you are at home or work you should be on WiFi. It's people that constantly stream over LTE and 3G that slow down the network in the first place.
  13. Brooklyn has quite acre towers but most were turned off. That's saddening.
  14. Work is spreading out evenly amongst the boroughs. In all except Staten Island.
  15. I read that T-Mobile is launching 4G markets the same way they are launching HSPA+ 1900Mhz markets. Is it possible that they are preparing for an iPhone 5S? It seems kind of weird that the same cities, in order, that got HSPA+1900 are getting LTE.
  16. No. I don't think you have the folder set to public so we can see.
  17. In my opinion, Long Island speeds have never really been painfully slow like in the city. Manhattan has decent speeds in my opinion too. In Brooklyn, my speeds in my old neighborhood were around 1kbps now, it is around 700kbps-1.8Mbps with a 70ms ping.
  18. The tower near me is consistantly giving me the speeds and pings of a Network Vision tower, but for some odd reason it never pops up in the sponsor map. Could that possibly be one of the few fast legacy towers that exist on the Sprint network?
  19. But T-Mobile didn't have much of a choice because they needed to deploy on AWS which is a 2100/1700.
  20. It kind of pissed me off that people heard that T-Mobile is launching LTE Advanced but when Sprint said it, it went in one ear and came out of the other
