  1. In regards to wireless carriers rankings that's about to change. If reports are leaning towards Sprint no longer holding the #3 spot that won't be a long term placement. Sprint has everything in needs to be successful (Resources) and extend the gap between tmobile but what was sorely missing is it's LEADERSHIP to take them there. Softbank Masayoshi son was the first and crucial step in that direction. Now with Mr. Hesse leaving Mr Son has chosen his successor and that's the 2nd most crucial step in Sprint's company to propel them back on course. Now what's next is staff management in key position which has already in the works and it's on. Both Mr. Son and Mr. Claure having a proven successful business track record and leadership to get this accomplish. Now with the circus show out of the way (tmobile) it can dedicate it's plan of action 100% to that. The next phase is seeing what plans Sprint has in store and initiate it. I'm looking at both short term now, within a year, and long term, 3-5 years. Starting with the year plan to make a difference now rather than later.
  2. I said this earlier.... This may yet be a blessing in disguise for Sprint as freed up money could lead to buyout of smaller cellular companies to add to it's network expansion as well as improvements. Turning a profit and ramp up for next years action. Sprint's sugar daddy, Masayoshi Son, at Softbank can make that happen. On the other hand tmobile future doesn't look at all good. With the failed combined joint spectrum auction blockade by the FCC it will have no means to raise enough money needed and coupled with the fact DT is still pursuing to dump them off to the highest bidder and get out of the US market. Apparently Iliad is supposed to be bidding again along with Dish, Cox, and Charter's help. If this is true, you can say goodbye to Uncarrier as those 3 companies are looking for profit immediately. They;re going to want to raise prices all around to justify their purchase. Let's see how the story unfolds. Turn the page....

  4. Do you honestly believe the G2 will get 4.4.3 or will it completely skip it and go straight to Android L on it's next HUGE software update and will that be the last as far as major updates go not including fixes and or add ons down the road afterwards,
  5. FYI The recent update (ZVD) to the G2 was primarily Knock Code with some fixes and add ons which one of those was " ART " in the Select Run under Developer Option. YEA! http://imgur.com/Ksy9BwF
  6. I have, the same day it was released.

    LG G3

Wow, yeah band 41 should be way faster but everything depends if it's complete. I'm in an area with only 4G LTE (Non-Spark) and the most I get is 35Mbps dn and 10Mbps up on band 26. So I average at 30Mpbs dn and 7Mbps up. Give it some time and continue running systems updates. PRL/Profile/Firmware & software updates. Band 41 is capable of 60+Mbps...

    LG G3

The G3 is capable of Wireless charging, it is built into it however it requires the Quick Circle case for it to function on the Qi Charger. At this time that is the only known way to make it work. Be sure it is the ones for the state and not international ones.
  9. LG source code web page has new ones posted. Does anyone have any idea what each one are for. kitkat 4.4.4 and or knock code coupled with WiFi. See link: http://imgur.com/EfwoYTx

    LG G3

Congratulations to all the new G3 owners. I'm on Sprint's traditional plans so my next upgrade won't be till 1st Dec 2014 and who knows by then maybe LG (S. Korea) will decide to bring the G3 wtih the 805 Qualcomm Snapdragon processor over to the states by then. Wishful thinking I know but in any case I'll have it by then for the holidays.

    LG G3

Negative! That is not the Korean model in fact it's a Shiney Gold variant which Korean models aren't sporting. Also there is no antenna on it. Just take a real good look at the pics in the article. Now I know the US version is wireless capable and that there's an LG wireless charger which is all clearly shown in the article's pic but what you may have failed to realize is the device sporting the quick circle case from LG. This may in fact be the case that allow the wireless charging with the Qi Wireless Charger but make no mistake that the US version IS wireless capable.

    LG G3

Any official links from Sprint on the early release. I have yet to come accross one.
  16. I was checking system updates under the LG software and this popped up, I don't know what it's for. http://imgur.com/p95B1Kk Unable to attach photo pic so here's the link to it on IMGUR.
  17. Not having compared it to the other " Tri Band " smartphones the G2 IMHO has been great overall and reception as well. That's personal experience using it as my daily driver so it sounds like location as always could be the key.
  18. Holding Power & Volume down simultaneously while the device is ON will take a photo screen shot....... With the device powered down that's an entirely different task. Master Factory Reset!
  19. That's great you're able to do that though seriously doubt I can since clear wire hasn't been in my area however I would like to know the steps in switching which would come in handy down the road if it's not to much trouble.
  20. B41......howdja do that!
  21. Yes that's already been covered in this blog and link provided for user reference. http://www.talkandroid.com/185088-google-engineer-explains-why-you-shouldnt-clear-google-services-framework-data/ It's up to the user to make that call.......
  22. This is what worked for me..... Update prl/profile Reboot device Force Stop and Clear Data in Google services Framework Go To LG Software UPdate wait 30+ minutes then tap " Check Now " I changed up the process slightly since the other way wasn't working for me. Best of luck!
  23. I've seen that but no biggie, if it's that much of an issue I'll just stop by and say Hi when I come to visit. I like being part of a group, community that helps one another regardless how many time a question is brought to light. I see now it's a burden. Thanks for the heads up.
  24. Ah, okay sarcasm....lol Got it.
