  1. I initially downloaded LG PC Suite and when that didn't work I decided to use LG Mobile Support Tool to correct the issue, neither work, it simply doesn't detect the device when it's connected. I have no issue with the pc itself detecting it so I'm at a loss on what to make of it. I'm starting to think those two software programs aren't set up to accommodate a new device like the G2. IDK
  2. Last I read on the update for LG devices to Kit Kat 4.4 was a target date set to start pushing it out around March 2014 time frame which seems to correlate with testing being done as you described. The G2 of course will be the first of the models then the Optimus G & G PRO then after that selected devices. I'm looking forward to that but for now I'm looking out on the software update from LS980ZV8 TO LS980ZVA to fix the issues plaguing voice mail and Google Hang outs.
  3. I have an issue I hope anyone could answer. Hello everyone I'm a owner of the G2 since Christmas and although I haven't received the latest update LS980ZVA I'm very content with LS980ZV8 for the exception that voice mail has been hindered by Google Hang Outs. The issue at hand is I've been unable to connect with LG PC suite and or LG Mobile Support Tool and have run out of options on what to do next. I've tried going through the steps in support tool and attempted to download the drive but Sprint's model is not listed in the drop down menu and the PC Suit, even after using it's driver re-installation method has not helped. Both software programs have been unable to detect the G2 connection to the PC. Please advise on what's my next course of action. Thanks in advance!

    LG Optimus G

Thank you gentlemen, that clears things up.
  5. Just goes to show “You can please some of the people some of the time all of the people some of the time some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time.” Thanks for the heads up, very informative. I knew it was coming to Sprint but this information was unpublished at the time. Also thanks for the input in regards to the Note 3 band limitations and looking forward to read more on it when you guys publish it. Keep up the great work.

    LG Optimus G

Hi everyone, I've read that the LG Optimus G Sprint's handset does have the capabilities for 800 mhz, LTE-A etc. Please explain to me specifics if this is not the case, I maybe misreading into the specs on the device capabilities. http://www.phonearena.com/phones/LG-Optimus-G-Sprint_id7100
  7. I'm still showing time on the clock on the iDen shutdown. 28 min 20 sec
  8. Thanks for the quick reply and for the warm welcome, most happy to be part of a great group and site like this one.
  9. LOL misunderstood, my bad. I was asking the same earlier this evening in regards to the time zone.
  10. Several years ago I had a couple of BB devices, first CDMA then iDen only because we had terrible reception at the time we lived there with CDMA and speaking of personal experience the Iden network worked flawless in fact it's signal reception penetrated our home flawlessly and always had 4 full bars and great performance.
  11. To do the naming rights just go to donations on the upper right hand side and that's it.
  12. That clarifies it. Thanks very much Robert, I feel a piece of mind just knowing that.
  13. Robert I know in the past I've asked about Alvarado, Tx 76009-4003 in regards to LTE and I do remember you letting me know it would be covered under the DFW sector. However as I see the maps 76009 does not even come close to any towers with LTE expansion from Alvarado to Venus to Midlothian up until right before it hits Cedar Hill & Cleburne TX east and west. Please explain to me so that I can be assured that we won't be left behind in regards to LTE.
