  1. ZV8 was the software version the G2 came with then ZVA was the last update (spark/enhancements/fixes) and ZVB is the upcoming Software version of Kit Kat. RIGHT!
  2. Bring on Kit Kat to the G2..........
  3. Same here with all the happy campers..... NO MAJOR issues with the LG G2 so I can't identify with the few who claim issue after issue. The G2 has been and continues to be a phenomenal smartphone with butter smooth performance. Top of the line flagship amongst other flagship it holds it's own very well. Miracast is awesome displayed on HD 60" TV, WHOA!
  4. Nope, beleive it or not I'm not on Spark not even in an area of Spark. The icon has always been on since the update and Sprint is updating WiMax areas first to Spark then the rest and I wasn't in a WiMax area. I'm looking forward to Spark when it does land in my location.
  5. Looks like I'm on band 25
  6. This is what it shows.....
  7. :DSo far performance has been fantastic, looking forward to Sprint Spark!
  8. Alright looks like I can't edit previous post or delete it so I'll try again. This is the current setup my G2 shows as far as bands and priorities go.
  9. This is what is set on my G2.
  10. Slightly on the side of overreaction Friday, lol. The consumer in general who don't tinker with the device is fine. It appears to be target for the ones who have manipulated their device at any point that are affect for the most part. I myself wasn't aware about this and followed " ericdabbs " step by step instructions on how to get msl and change the band priorities. After the update I did just that and all the bands are enabled 41,25,26 with priority one, so what I'm saying is it's not a software issue but more along the lines of users tinkering with the devices prior to the software installation. Another possibility is it could just be as simply as a fluke.
  11. Be sure to click on LTE and select " Edit " not view then enter the MSL # and all three bands will pull up. * PS. If you select " View " it will only display LTE and two bands.
  12. Wow, followed the steps shown above and all the bands are there & enabled plus set to 1 all across. So I left it that way unless it makes a major difference in performance I'm happy thus far. Thanks very much, this is crucial info.
  13. Thanks, thanks very much... And I remember someone posting on here on how to get the MSL, sorta the same steps shown here so I'll just fumble through that. Again thank you.
  14. and the step by step in doing that????
  15. But how is that done, what are the step by step........
  16. It's an LG SOFTWARE UPDATE not firmware.....
  17. Nope, never rooted my G2...... No issues to report.
  18. How is it changed or how did you check on the bands on the G2???
  19. How do you check bands......the steps you stated I don't see on the G2
  20. lol no that's the mode it goes in when the update is pulled up.
  21. FYI EVERYONE I just did a manual push on systems update via LG Software Update and like magic the LS980ZVA update appeared. TOTALLY UNEXPECTED and BTW I don't live in a Spark area and the closet Spark network is half an hours drive. Doesn't hurt to try pushing manually. Good Luck!
  22. Yes as originally stated....... see attachment
