In regards to KK, is there a sure way of rooting it and if so could you please provide instruction on how to and any links that would be helpful.
Quiet a few people are wanting to root but haven't had any luck.
Thanks.....
UPDATE!!
In regards to the " Not correct, it was accessible via dialer code 5689#*980# "
I went back through the menu and back tracked then exit it properly but no change. I was going to HARD factory reset when it dawn on me to check settings just in case. Well I went through the laundry list of categories and found it under " GESTURES " , turn on/off Knock On.
Who would of thought that was an option. DUH
* Now back to your regularly scheduled program.
I have a question. Somewhere on here recently this was posted:
" Not correct, it was accessible via dialer code 5689#*980# "
What's the purpose for this and if tinkered with can it be undone. I was reading through the most recent comments and I dialed the code to see the selection. When I tapped on one of the categories it said the test are already done and I believe it asked if I wanted to run it again so I tapped yes. Well it was an interactive tasks so I was there tapping the pass button but got burned out rather quickly so I pulled the notification menu down then clicked down and held the power button until it restarted. The only reason I did that is because I couldn't find a way to leave the diagnostics, there was no option given.
So here's the dilemma. Knock On has been disabled.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Okay I need some assistance.
People have tried to side load and there's stuck in a loop.
Question: What's the best easiest course of action to do at that point and is there a link for step by step.
I've come across people on social networks running into this issue and have no idea what to do next.
Thanks, any and all feedback on instructions to fix that situation is greatly appreciated.
FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apparently I wasn't allowing enough time between Force Stop/Clearing Data and systems update/LG Software Update check. So this time after stopping and clearing Google Service Framework I headed to Systems update/LG Software Update and waited 5-10 minutes before I tapped on Check Update.
Viola it worked.
Oh it's not that bad in reading the article. I thought it was catastrophic the way a hand full of people on social networks were describing it. A simple factory reset which I do anyhow after each major software update addresses the issue.
Thanks though!
Well no such luck...
I've attempted Force Stop and Cleared Data at least 5 times in Google Service Framework and every time I hit check now on the LG Update software it simple show the current time.
Really tempted to simply do a factory reset and see if that works but I'll keep trying....
Under menu>settings>apps>all>Google Services Framework
It shows: Force stop, Disable, Clear Data, Clear Cache
These are the options available.
So I need to know precisely what to do. Terrell352 said he cleared a few times???
So clearing the cache several times did it. I was told clear cache, clear data and force stop then tap the LG Software icon 10 times and it should take.
Please confirm that clearing cache is all that's needed.
