  1. Seriously, I would imagine 10:00 am or 1:00 PM EST or something like that...
  2. My guess would be at 12:00 am. I'll order mine later at breakfast. They really didn't give a time.
  3. I'm right there with you. Quite a few phones in recent months. You can't keep up with it though. As soon as you buy them, they are museum pieces and there's a bigger better one out there. I'm mainly interested in the Nexus 6 for the frequency bands that it covers. It doesn't hurt having the great screen and front stereo speakers either...
  4. I could be wrong, but I think BC10 (Band Class 10) is used by Sprint for their "push to talk" service, like the old Nextel service. I think it is somewhere in the low 800 MHz frequency range. Maybe someone more knowledgeable than myself can help. EDIT: I found an article on the subject written by Phone Scoop. I was partially correct. http://www.phonescoop.com/glossary/term.php?gid=480
  5. I'll look at it this way; it will make me appreciate my job even more. Ah, the price of new toys.
  6. Yeah, me as well. Now I have to decide which debt free credit card I want to melt down by putting $700 on it. Geez...

  8. Luckily, my credit cards are all balance free. Time to help out the economy! Go for it!
  9. th it is... OK, You are correct: "Engineering Screens" and the 29th it is...
  10. I'm pretty sure I want the 64 GB version. I'm glad to hear your impressions of the 2014 Moto X were so favorable. I'm just a little hesitant to order on the 29th as I would like to see how it goes for the early adopters. Is anyone going to place their order on the 29th?
  11. And now the protective cases are available..... http://www.spigen.com/brands/google/nexus-6.html http://www.amazon.com/SUPCASE-Google-Unicorn-Premium-Motorola/dp/B00OHFGUDU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1414423887&sr=8-1&keywords=google+nexus+6
  12. Anybody see this "Hands On" video Goocle Nexus 6 vs Samsung Galaxy Note 4? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmr3lSonKz0
  13. Ascertion, Did you try to reactivate your G2 on Sprint. When my G2 came back from factory service it also showed LG as the carrier. Even the Sprint splash screen was replaced with an LG splash screen. After I forced the G2 to reactivate itself, all the Sprint stuff came back. It took several reboots and updates to get it all back to normal though. The profile did update after forcing the device to reactivate.
  14. Thanks for your post. I just ordered the nano sim as well. Want to be all ready for when the Nexus 6 gets here!
  15. The new 6 and 6+ are sweet phones!
  16. My Note 3 is deactivated at the moment, since I went with a Tri Band device, but I did not ever have an issue with dropped calls. Some people did though...
  17. I have a question about purchasing Nexus 6 from Sprint. My memory is pretty foggy on this, but didn't individuals who bought their Nexus 5's from T-Mobile have trouble getting them activated on Sprint? Or, were they unable to activate them on Sprint at all? Some sort of MEID issues? Since the Nexus 6 works on all 4 cell providers, if we want to sell it after a period of time, would the next owner have an issue if he or she were to try and activate it on a carrier other than Sprint? I would hate to purchase from Google Play and then go through the hassle of trying to get a SIM card from Sprint. I'd rather just purchase from Sprint where the SIM is already installed.
  18. Thanks, I hate the stock SMS app on my G3. It sticks strictly to the 160 character (CDMA) rule, so even if you insert a smiley, it breaks the message apart - can't turn that feature off either. Used to use Handcent and tried Chomp, but didn't like them very much.
  19. As i recall, the print in the bubble was a white color. Can you now select black print in the latest update?
  20. I don't think it matters at all. My phone usually camps out on 1xRTT since I am very close to the NV tower. My girlfriend's S4T is on 1x800 and we have successfully had HD calls - only once in a blue moon though... We both meet all the criteria that dleewee described above, but rarely experience HD voice. I'm not sure why. I don't know what exactly decides when you get HD. We both live very close to NV towers, so signal should not be an issue.
  21. Yeah, I hope that does get resolved with the ZVE update. When I experience the issue with all my phones, I have a great signal, so for me at least, it must be the network.
  22. Happens to my girlfriend's S4T as well. LTE never comes back until an airplane mode toggle.
  23. That may be a network issue. I've been having similar issues around the Harrisburg PA area. When I place or receive a call there can be a call connection and no sound or very low volume to the point where I can't hear the other party. Disconnecting and calling back (sometimes multiple times) will fix the problem. At first I thought it was my phone going bad; I was using a Samsung Galaxy Mega at the time. I swapped out the phone to a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and still had the problem. Not wanting to live life with a single band device, I swapped the Note 3 out for my LG G2 - still have the problem. Currently using an LG G3 and still have the problem. I think it may be a network issue. I reported the issue and Sprint corrected it (known issue in my area). Unfortunately yesterday it's back. EDIT: Forgot to mention that the situation can be reciprocal for the other party as well. Sometimes the situation occurs simultaneously for both parties.
