Rumor has it..
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
I flashed 4.4.4 again because I wasn't ready for some of the bugs otherwise I would have confirmed this or not. Just thought I'd share for those of us who experienced the issue in the hopes if could remedy it.

Rumor has it that disabling merged IM and SMS in Hangouts fixes the MMS issues some are having with the Android L Preview.

So I called Sprint to get my msl and they said no it's against company policy. They think I will switch to another carrier. I can't find even on Google another way to get it. Any help would be great. Thanks
I always just tell them I am an application developer and I need the MSL to access low level system values. They never argue with me after that.

Gotta say... the notification system/utilities menu has really taken a step back. Looked nice in the keynote, but not nearly as well refined as the previous implementation of it.

MMS isn't working for me on L release. Anyone else?
Same here.

Stutters badly under load. I think the worst thing I noticed is that there doesn't seem to be a way of clearing all notifications at once.

Did you wipe your userdata too? On XDA it appears that people who just flash boot, system, and the radio are having some pretty nasty bugs. I'm still waiting it out for the time being. I also went to test the new radio, but here in WI we are having a pretty major Sprint outage.
I flashed everything since it was a major release. Since it is a beta release I felt it best to play it safe. Haven't noticed any bugs except the DEBUG menu crashing.

Really long boot animation when booting up for the first time.

how will the L preview release be updated from now to OTA/RTM? new images?
If they do release updates to Android L between now and official release it will most likely (almost definitely) be in the form of new images.

I'd be sure do a proper backup before flashing the new image. Just in case you need to return to 4.4.4 because of bugs.

I just got the update and it has messed up the time on my phone. It is an hour ahead. Any suggestions?

Have you tried resetting it? If it is due to the network there isn't much you can other than report it to Sprint. I've manually changed the time on my Nexus before but apps like Hangouts still pull the network time for the time stamp.

I think it is actually today! Can't wait to begin implementing material design into my applications.Nexus 5 developer images for Android "L" come tomorrow!
Edit: Actually it's the SDK that goes live today. My bad, got too excited lol.

This is inside the juvenile detention center. On band 41. Pretty good except the upload.

Quite the difference... I wonder if that tower is one of the few with a 4:1 split.

Every time I've ever been to UNF the service was bad.

My experience has always been pretty good. It's been really nice since that Clearwire tower came online with eCSFB.

Does anyone know of a way to force a custom PRL on this phone? On my S3, I was able to use the corporate PRLs to get 3G roaming. Is that possible here?
I posted a detailed guide a couple of weeks ago. You may have to dig back some to find it.

St Augustine histic district needs another tower. No band is going to help. Its really hard to get new towers that way though.
Well 1x800 did allow me to send texts where 1x1900 would not. I think that if Ericsson were competent enough to properly optimize the low band frequencies in the area we would be having a much better experience there.

Well signal still blows in the old St. Augustine square. Staying here until tomorrow and was hoping that some B26 love would keep my phone's battery from melting in my pocket. There is some 1x800 but it is no better than the 1x1900 at the moment.

What modem is everybody running on the Nexus 5 that experience the LTE outage?
Wasn't limited to Nexus devices.

Yeah, it's back. This is B25 right now. I've never seen it this fast on this site/sector.
You might've just got lucky and got that speedtest off before others in the area connected. I imagine every phone that didn't have LTE is pulling and syncing data right now lol.

Wells that's quite odd. I literally couldn't get away from the B26 when I was there on the 18th.
