  1. Looks like that one is inside the Forum. Not sure if you are going to have much luck picking up a signal outside and as there are no Lightning games in there right now...
  2. Don't have an LTE phone so I can't be of any help for the time being. I'm holding off purchasing until some of the coverage gaps in a few areas decrease.
  3. Unfortunately I can't access those engineering screens because of this ROM. I was just curious to see what channels I bounce around in a given area and so I could see how/if this would change during the network vision upgrades.
  4. Thanks, just downloaded it and it looks to about what I am looking for. Is there a way it can tell you what channel you are on?
  5. Last I remember there was an option where you could buy out the remainder of your contract to upgrade, but I'm not sure if they still offer that or not. Here is some more info on it: http://meangreen.hubpages.com/hub/The-Sprint-Early-Upgrade-Buyout-Program-How-to-quickly-upgrade-to-a-new-sprint-smart-phone-before-your-contract-is-up
  6. Is there a handy Android app that displays all the same information of the Field Test app? The reason I ask is because the custom ROM I use doesn't actually allow me access to the Field Test function.
  7. Hmmm I think I would have to say it was unfair to us as consumers. A lot of us bought the phone under the premise that at some point we would have 4G. For it to have never come at all, definitely had to have been a huge disappointment for all those Sprint customers. I think Sprint can just make it right just by completing their 4G network this time around. That would be good enough. Like you though, Feech, I was lucky enough to have WiMax almost from the get go. I don't want to even think about all the customers that were suckered into upgrading their phones on the promise that 4G was coming soon to their area. Let's just hope Sprint takes WiMax as a lesson learned so we can all look forward to better things.
  8. You're comparing your own frustrations with Sprint's LTE rollout to other peoples impatience. Truth is, Sprint just might not be working for Sprint as they are right now and they want to get what they are paying for. Now I am in no way condoning the people who relentlessly Sprint bash, but I certainly can understand some peoples impatience depending on what they are experiencing with Sprint Luckily enough for myself, Sprint is just about excellent in Tampa, but I've been to areas like Columbia SC where my phone was seriously a paperweight the entire time I was there. For myself, I am completely patient with the LTE rollout. What's more important to me is that 800mhz rollout. Just want to have decent coverage in areas that I would expect to have it, in an otherwise well covered city. All depends on your own situation I suppose. It's hard to try to put yourself in another persons shoes when your in an overall good situation with Sprint.
  9. Completely understand. You have to do what's best for you. However, if I were you I would go the Value plan route with T-Mobile and buy the $350 galaxy nexus from the Play Store. This way you don't have a contract and can jump back if Sprint starts rockin' the house like we are all hoping they will. Also your bill will be like $55 a month for 500 mins and unlimited everything else. No reason to pay for more minutes since they offer unlimited wifi calling. Best of luck!
  10. Haven't noticed it yet. Will my EVO 3D even pick up eHRPD or will it always just be Rev. A for me?
  11. I'm guessing we mustn't be on schedule anymore since it's mid-October and we haven't seen much of anything?
  12. Pretty much buying customers. They have a decent amount of AWS and PCS spectrum though. The PCS would be useful, but I'm not sure if Sprint would be interested in the AWS spectrum.
  13. Anyone see anything in the last week? We have to have some upgrades going on by now.
  14. Haven't been much of a stock android fan myself. I agree with you Feech that 4.0 is much better than what vanilla android used to be but I still prefer Sense or TouchWiz. Sidenote: I do really like that they scaled back Sense and made it lighter.
  15. Just checked and there was a number added to my account I didn't recognize and Google was forwarding my text to them. No idea how it got there, but I just deleted it so hopefully this is the last of this problem. Thanks a lot for the tip. I was so flustered last night after this happened that I couldn't think straight about how to figure this out. It was creepy as hell to say the least.
  16. According to Google my account hasn't been accessed on any other computers other then my own, so I'm going to assume they weren't accessing it through a computer. Never met them
  17. Thought maybe one of you guys on here could help with this.... And before you read on NO JOKE, this seriously happened. Today I was texting some guy on Craigslist about trading for an Amaze 4G (not for me). Well to my amazement (pun intended) someone else started texting him from my own Google Voice account. Now I have no idea how this could have happened. All phones that I have GV installed on are accounted for and according to Google, my account has not been accessed at any other location. How the hell could this have happened, and how can I find out who the person is that is using my number? (For the record whoever is using it doesn't seem to have any idea that I'm having a conversation with someone else) Any ideas guys?
  18. Great tip Feech. I'll keep everyone on this particular page posted if I see anything around New Tampa.
  19. Wow that is a small image. No wonder you couldn't tell what it was lol. See if you can find a larger image and maybe someone can identify it for you.
  20. Haha me too. I keep telling myself we will finally see something any day now lol.
  21. Have you actually seen any work on any Sprint towers? I haven't seen any in New Tampa so far. Based on how they deployed towards the outskirts of other major cities I thought I would see any upgrades first.
  22. Doesn't bother me one bit. No where in the article did he say that they will rise prices. Company's always have to consider raising prices when their in the financial state that Sprint is, just a part of any business. What was said in the article, however, is that they are NOT looking at raising prices for a good period of time. That should be satisfying for all of us.
  23. Here is the article in question... http://www.theverge.com/2012/9/13/3328492/iphone-5-simultaneous-voice-data-verizon-sprint If this is true then it will be a colossal mistake on Apple's part.
