I'd guess we would see something in New Tampa or in St. Pete first. Start on the outside and work their way in. Probably completely unrelated, but I had no 3G today... Does anyone know what effects we would see on our phones as the towers are being upgraded to LTE?

Just tried Start8 on the RTM-Windows 8 I am running on Virtualbox to develop on, and I'm just going to say that I would totally buy this program. Gives Windows 8 the iconic windows feel it is missing.

Could definitely save money by being able to buy phone from Best Buy or Amazon.

I develop for Windows 8, but I certainly won't be switching to it myself. It's a decent OS for a tablet, but falls sub-par for my desktop.

Definitely looking forward to that 800mhz spectrum closing the coverage gaps in the area. Particularly in the Forum and Channelside. Based on the first estimates we had I thought by the time I would be able to upgrade in December I would have a good idea of the rollout in Tampa. Hopefully we get something before December.

I do notice significant texting delays here in the Tampa market as well. Data speeds used to be prime here, but delays with text messages have always been an issue. I am hoping that gets fixed in NV as well.

If the opportunity presents itself, drop in and ask. Sounds like AT&T has already done substantial work there so there is a much more likely chance it could be for Sprint.

Some of those permits have been out for awhile by the looks of it. Wonder how long after a permit has been pulled that work actually gets started.

Not to be a downer, but it's probably just lack-there-of. I hope one of us gets eyes on an update in progress. It's hard to believe it's happening until you know that someone has seen it.
