Now I'm at work today and Tapatalk app is giving me this again....which is what I was seeing last night at home. Except my home WiFi wasn't letting me into the website on my laptop either. This work connection on my desktop is wired, but my phone on wireless does not work. Flip off WiFi so I'm on Sprint and it works again. How frustrating!!!! hope any of this helps with the ticket to Tapatalk.

Guh, now my home IP is giving me errors on the site and nothing loads. Have to use Sprint LTE to get this to load. Super frustrating. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

After a few early force closing issues, I seriously can't find much wrong with this Beta?? Everything works very well and all my apps work just fine. With the exception of some themes not working in SwiftKey. Not sure I can tell much of a difference in "smoothness" or speed, but I'm pleased the apps stopped force closing. I know 8.1 adds the ability to turn off the "on-going" notifications without a 3rd party solution, but what were they thinking? It's very annoying. Sure now the user knows if something is running amok but that's not something Joe user cares about. For sending feedback on the Beta, go into the Samsung Members app. It's now installed and has feedback area for the Beta. Very well done by Samsung. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

I long pressed on it and then in app settings block notifications and it worked for this. Without the other app, but I do have the blocking app too. I'll see if it comes back.

yeah, I had some FC on a lot of apps, but a reboot and letting it sit a while and now I don't have any FCs. So far so good.

I like this phone, but do not love it. I'm not too butt hurt because Galaxy for life thing so I'm not locked into it for 2 years+. I have the S8+, my wife's S8 has pretty bad battery life compared to the S8+. I'm not having random reboots and freezing like others may be reporting and I use my phone pretty heavily, have an Android Wear watch always attached, constantly stream music via different bluetooth headphones and my car kit, and the S8+ doesn't really hang up for me at all. My issues are just more in the usability side of the phone. The fingerprint reader, which you DO need sometimes for authentication, is terribly placed and no matter what people say, you never really get used to it. A case helps, sure, but doesn't solve me putting my finger on the camera lens. (Iris unlock is superior, but not used by many apps for entry). I STILL can not get the double tap power to open camera right, screen on, screen off, then on, then off, then maybe the camera opens? I still have a beef with the picture quality of the camera. Samsung does too much with the software processing and fuzzes up images. Seems like every other manufacturer is updating camera quality on released phones except Samsung. Unfortunately, for me, Samsung phones really fit into my life now with the wireless charging (significant investment in charging pads everywhere in my life) and the Samsung Pay really is convenient and (importantly) safe. IF I was in the market now, I'd get the Note 8. However, IF you are unencumbered by the Samsung need, then I would get the Pixel XL2. Pure Google, pure speed, great camera and non-idiotic finger printer reader location. (Pixel2XL and not the Pixel2, the Pixel2 is ugly (bezels) and different than the Pixel2XL). Again though, the Pixel might not have the Sprint network optimizations like the Note or S8 might have. If your current phone is the S6 still like your profile says, then the Note8 is going to be a size shock, but I love this size screen.

Does anyone know what the URL to get to the latest post is now for links? Prior to the website update, I always ended my weblinks with "ng-galaxy-s8-dual-simduos/?view=getnewpost" which would take me to the newest post. I can't seem to figure out if that's possible anymore? I just get to the front page. Hitting the unread section top right sort of works, but is a little quirky too as I get all the posts instead of the thread I want.

I noticed that all my S4GRU previous followed threads were all "muted" so not sure why that was the case, but you may have to "unmute" them to get the notifications. I know I didn't do this, so perhaps some configuration got pushed from the update? Just FYI.

It's the card that came with the VR deal so Samsung EVO plus or whatever, I thought it was supposed to be top notch for the recording. I'm only recording in 1080 also, so I wouldn't think that would be a problem, but I could switch to test. Hadn't thought of that.

I actually had my phone tell me yesterday that I hadn't restarted in 7 days! I can't believe it's gone that long for me. I'm usually every couple of days out of habit now, but the phone has been better for me and my needs I guess since I hadn't restarted. What continues to be a frustration for me and the S8+ is the clarity of the pictures (Samsung over-processing the images on the software side) and second, I now get a 4-5 second delay after hitting the "record" button in the Camera app to the video actually recording. The second or third video will start right away, but then it'll lag again for 4-5 seconds. Drives me bonkers. When trying to capture things my kids do, those 4-5 seconds make all the difference.

Thought I was taking crazy pills that no one had posted in the Sprint Magic Box thread in like 5 days! (no notifications) ha ha. Thankfully found this information. Too bad about Tapatalk.

I have mine on all the time, so.....all the time, I guess?? It's been working fine for me and I have only had 1 dropped call, but I usually have a dropped call here or there before Calling Plus too. The connection between my wife's phone and mine is always so crystal clear. Especially through our car bluetooth kits now, which was starting to be a problem with the S8 and S8+ before Calling Plus.
