  1. So what is really difference between virgin and boost at this time? Never had either service personally. But, I don't get it! Boost, was a Nextel subsidiary. It was super big when I was a teen. Virgin mobile has always been sprints subsidiary but the markets now essentially overlap. No detection device wise.

This is why they should merge both Boost and Virgin into one entity.  Just as you stated Boost had iDEN and with that now shut down there really isn't much difference in the two other than there pricing options.

  2. Question, why would the BaseStation Location (BSL) change in the SignalCheck Pro app?  A couple of Sprint sites that I connect to while home have changed addresses.  Original locations on a couple sites were "117 Volunteer Parkway, Bristol and 701-799 Fairview St, Bristol."  Now the one for Volunteer Parkway, Bristol says "2-60 Bob Morrison Blvd, Bristol" and the other is reporting "601-699 Maple St.  Bristol."  I few others I know that have SCP are showing the same behavior and are showing the BSL changes.  Odd things have been going on the last few days with my service.

  3. I'm loving the kitkat update. With kitkat you are able to install the Google now experience launcher which looks a lot better than the Samsung UI in my opinion.

    Screenshot?

  4. As of now it seems to be only in and around my house not at work or other places. Could something with NV be causing this?

If the problem is isolated to around your home its very possible that the site you connect to while at home is getting worked on.

Dropped, missed, and long ringing times are all symptoms of Network Vision upgrades, also texting seems to be hair pulling when they are integrating the 3G side of a site.

A few days ago three Sprint sites were down in a cluster in my town, the only one that was operational was the site sitting in the middle of town that services the downtown and surrounding areas.

  5. UPDATE APRIL 25, 2014

The SPC (Storm Prediction Center) has updated there outlook.  Multi-day severe weather outbreak is possible begining Sunday April 27, 2014 during the afternoon hours where heating will be robust and may last into the night...large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes are likely.  The areas of greatest concern are the following: Central and Western Arkansas/Eastern Texas

D5 (Day 5) Tuesday has been upgraded and pushed further East well into the Southeast, the potential of a severe weather outbreak appears to be greater at the current time.

      Sunday Severe Weather Outlook

       Day 4-8 Severe Probabilities

  6. Won't be able to go out Sunday, have to be near home to take to the airwaves if things go south in the Ozarks.

Honestly I think if this system holds together there will plenty of chase days from Saturday through Tuesday.

  7. May be a good chase day Saturday. We shall see. So long as it stays west of my area so I don't have to go to work.

Ill be on this system by Saturday afternoon given if I can get my work caught up  ;)

I'm thinking Western/Central Arkansas will be a good target area and go from there.

  8. UPDATE APRIL 23, 2014

The SPC (Storm Prediction Center) is forecasting for a possible multi-day severe weather event across portions of the central and southern plains Saturday (4/26) and Sunday (4/27)...large hail and strong tornadoes are possible.

Note: Depending on how far east the dryline advances the Mississippi and Tennessee Valleys could be impacted by this system by Monday given if enough warm convection and instability is in the atmosphere.
