  1. Was on ed1500 and had same issue. T-Mobile is sort of like dealing with the Russians on this. Switched to Sprint Magenta Max. Really would like to be on T-Mobile billing, esim, better phone deals,etc,but...
  2. New security update on s21 ultra unlocked:https://doc.samsungmobile.com/SM-G998U1/VZW/doc.html
  3. This would be quite useful in hurricane prone areas.
  4. Still seeing AT&T HPSA+ here as well, although changing the network type to wcdma only gave temporary results. Had to turn off all LTE to fully force it this time. Interesting that even the 100Mhz of n41 failed to have decent upload. How far were you from its site? Wondering if n71 upload will be able to help just at a distance or will be required for the entire cell range. n41 upload at 100MHz should be at least 5x what Sprint could offer for band 41 LTE, plus supposedly they can temporarily shorten the download time frame to boost upload but not certain this was ever implemented. On the small cell performance, I wonder if there are still lingering issues from the van? bombing a while back in downtown Nashville. Was there any sort of festival occuring?
  5. What specific aspects of Release 16 does it require? Surprised they just didn't go the n77 super band, n78.
  6. Last in the pecking order here in Columbus OH. Quite nice to lock into it in Dublin Oh around St Patrick's day. Dropped from many sites.
  7. There is also n78. Even the Samsung Galaxy A32 5g has both.
  8. Hopefully once they are done with the marketing check boxes, they will go for more density, not only with n41 but also with n71.
  9. Report of likely cheap 5g phones for specific Dish bands: https://www.phonearena.com/news/new-moto-phones-to-support-disg-5g_id138854
  10. Temperature control is the official acknowledgement: https://www.webpronews.com/samsung-to-roll-out-update-to-fix-throttling/
  11. Sent diagnostics on n41 being displayed for the header and with the provider line but the frequency line is correct (626Mhz for n71) which matches samsung *#0011# and cellmapper. SCP 4.71b
  12. I think it is for battery use. Of course ever since I almost got kicked off of planes because of the exploding Note 7 batteries, user replaceable batteries were eliminated, else you could simply get extended life batteries.
  13. I think if we keeping exchanging notes we should be able to determine what factors deter who gets converted first. Then we can make adjustments to speed up our individual prospects. I went the route of going to Sprint Max for the network priority. Previously was on ed1500 with high priority and awesome roaming. The roaming deteriorated then was being throttled. Did get a "free" line then 4 "free" phones. They seem to have great difficulty understanding Sprint money = T-Mobile money in terms of how "free" phones are handled for billing conversions. Your right, I would at least shift phones around. I have a s21 ultra sitting on Verizon because of this mess
  14. From the auction, nothing should change. However, there are some slivers of spectrum in some metro areas that may be up for auction. There could also be some areas that lie outside of the radius that could be bought. The biggest risk is when leases expire. On the plus side is any spectrum wins could be implemented almost immediately after results are accepted. For T-Mobile it would be a few settings (and more fiber bandwidth to support it.)
  15. https://www.webpronews.com/samsung-throttlegate-worlds-largest-smartphone-maker-throttling-apps/ Not just the s22.
  16. The number of sites with c-band equipment has increased in northwest Columbus. When they are turned on the published coverage map will become more plausible.
  17. How does this compare to your last phone?
  18. My hope is they will final get moving on converting Sprint billing to T-Mobile. Banks often hire consulting firms to do this with tight deadlines. Having just one billing system would cleanup the entire sales side making new approaches/structures possible. The focus of store personnel could final shift back to bringing in new customers and solving regular customer issues rather than old Sprint quirks.
  19. Updated my T-Mobile locked phone but not my unlocked phone. Still on Android 11. Build Number : A326USQU7AVB1 Android version : R(Android 11) Release Date : 2022-03-01 Security patch level : 2022-02-01 • The security of your device has been improved.
  20. https://www.fiercewireless.com/wireless/t-mobile-changes-leadership-organizational-roles VP Callie Field moved out of T-Mobile customer support. A lot of reddit folks will be quite happy.
  21. Details here for the small city initial coverage. Basically spread out over as many states as possible. https://www.lightreading.com/5g/dish-ids-more-5g-markets-strikes-deal-with-t-mobile-to-resolve-cdma-shutdown-/d/d-id/775556?
  22. The use of band 70 will be the issue right now for them. Not on the Samsung A32 5g. Their customer base needs cheap phones. Verizon is the opposite. The Samsung A32 5g supports n77 for C-band, but Verizon does not at this time. Probably dilutes their expensive image, ie you only get a good network if you spend a lot of money (I am sure they say this more elegantly lol.)
