  1. Still have B26 in Columbus, OH, but only seeing one neighbor. Might be down to just a handful in this metro.
  2. Correct, both n77 and n78 enabled on unlocked version, T-Mobile MVNO sims support both.
  3. https://www.lightreading.com/open-ran/dishs-5g-targets-40m-smartphone-customers-and-20-of-enterprise-market/d/d-id/777467? Dish will be starting a new brand for 5g. Unmentioned is how they will get their Boost Mobile customers ultimately to move over. Perhaps fearing scale issues or is this a recognition that they have put these customer through too much already? Maybe they want to cleanup their independent dealer network, many of whom have been clueless/unsupported during prior sim/carrier changes? I was hoping for a highly intelligent roaming arrangement to seamlessly add capacity where and when needed to their 5g network by selecting the best available other network through AT&T or T-Mobile while also factoring in cost much like what TracFone had promised before being gobbled up by Verizon.. Maybe I am just getting too far ahead.
  4. https://www.fiercewireless.com/5g/dish-explains-costly-phone-choice-its-new-5g-network Definitely leaning your way. When they only have one or two phones to test, you wonder why the delay?
  5. I had not seen that quote. Was hoping the phone might have special firmware that enabled n70. Moto models xt2213 and xt2215 cleared FCC with that support two months ago thus likely available around this time. Perhaps announced on Tuesday meeting for investors.
  6. Not certain about that. Would love to know the model varient/ fccid of what they will be handing out. press does such a horrible job reporting on bands supported. Agree on the s22. The modem can be more easily reprogrammed.
  7. Also occurring in strong signal area. Diagnostics sent. Connection pulled 250/7.
  8. With latest SCP plus Android 12 update to Samsung Galaxy A32 5G (includes 5GUC in status bar), SCP is reporting band nr7 (FDD 2600) plus for status bar and neighbors. *#0011# reports it as n41, same as cellmapper. Coming in at -116 rsrp. B2 is at -126 rsrp. Not getting good speedtests when this happens, so could be a failed connection.
  9. I analyzed some of the early cellmapper finds of Dish in Las Vegas and found some were likely using Boost Mobile T- Mobile sims and not the more recent Boost Mobile AT&T sims. With a regular T-Mobile sim you can easily see other plmns operating in your area. I have not seen 313 340 yet.
  10. Yes, spotted that in Cellmapper around Las Vegas, San Diego, and CO a while back iirc. Good to know it is still the same. Trying to get a feel for when they fir these sites up versus start the beta.

  12. Las Vega reported to go public today:https://www.axios.com/dish-network-5g-las-vegas-12d23748-ea65-4efc-b7be-e6c7fbec270a.html
  13. On my Samsung, I go to settings, connections, mobile networks, network operators. Then unchecked automatic and it will list the networks and plmns it sees. I currently have 8 total. With extra for T-Mobile, Sprint, and AT&T.
  14. A lot of Dish sites here in Columbus OH. No Genesis notice yet. No new plmns either. Are you seeing a new plmn yet?
  15. The rest of the story with this deal appears here: https://www.fiercewireless.com/5g/dish-strikes-1b-deal-samsung-5g-vran-handsets: "Samsung handsets in the mix Besides network gear, Dish is lining up 5G devices from Samsung as well."
  16. Seems a little late for these type of announcements, at least for the 3 frequencies currently being used and their implimentation. Of course this may be for the next phase of using all their frequencies: "The Samsung radios will also support all of DISH's Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) and Time Division Duplex (TDD) spectrum bands (including n71, n29, n66, n70, n48 and n77)."
  17. Your test showed 5:30pm, prime time. How does it differ at 4:30am or what ever time has the fewest users? (NYC never sleeps goes a very old song).
  18. Will be good to see your AT&T 3.45GHz +n77 results.
  19. Although US Mobile now reportedly has higher priority than Visible thus may give better speedtest results and better access to priority restricted bands such as n77 in some areas. US Mobile has been discussing multi tenancy like Visible recently thus may become more cost effective for hunters.
  20. US Mobile offers international calling from the US and wi-fi calling from overseas with international roaming being promised iirc. Tello offers wi-if calling from anywhere as well.
  21. I think Swiftel is a good choice given how small the numbers are. The CDMA numbers are likely people who still have LG G2s etc. Really no penalty under Sprint since they had all bands. ideal for people who barely use their phones and thus likely quite profitable. Could also be people on special government programs who T-Mobile feels are too risky to serve given audit requirements and changing policies. The big three's ecosystems are more dependent on phone sales than they want to admit. The T-Mobile $10 plan is another way to try to retain the old phone users who move to MVNOs. Not certain whether the free 5g phones will continue after Sprint network and T-Mobile 3g shutdowns roughly on July 1 . Noticed how T-Mobile gave themselves more flexibility by listing time periods rather than fixed dates.
  22. Interesting notes: Acquired customers, net of base adjustments (1)(2) 12 — 806 — (558)(1) Customers impacted by the decommissioning of the legacy Sprint CDMA network, who did not migrate to the T-Mobile network, have been excluded from our postpaid customer base resulting in the removal of 212,000 postpaid phone customers and 349,000 postpaid other customers in the first quarter of 2022. In connection with our acquisition of companies, we included a base adjustment in the first quarter of 2022 to increase postpaid phone customers by 17,000 and reduce postpaid other customers by 14,000.(2) In the first quarter of 2021, we acquired 11,000 postpaid phone customers and 1,000 postpaid other customers through our acquisition of an affiliate. In the third quarter of 2021, we acquired 716,000 postpaid phone customers and 90,000 postpaid other customers through our acquisition of Shentel’s Wireless Assets. I assume other customers is from MVNOs (perhaps old Dish customers, since most MVNOs are prepaid, including current Dish.) Other clarifications are welcome.
  23. I think some new motorola phones will be the first, XT2213 and XT2215 https://www.pcmag.com/news/fcc-tips-motorola-phones-with-special-dish-att-bands
  24. https://www.lightreading.com/private-networks/dishs-private-5g-strategy-gets-clearer/d/d-id/777029? This is how they will use some of their other spectrum, specifically 3.5GHz
