  1. Or depending on the plan you have, the 100 MB limit. -Anthony
  2. My iPhone 5S is now on PRL 51102 from 51101. -Anthony
  3. I just wish there was a way to get my little square back on my home button without interfereing with touch ID. That's really all I want with my iPhone 6 -Anthony
  4. While I do agree and I am completely satisfactory of my Retina desplay, I do really like the screen on my friends' LG G2. Even though I can't see individual pixels on my 5S, his 1080p screen just looks amazing. -Anthony
  5. AJ, you seem to have forgotten which part of S4GRU you have ventured to. -Anthony
  6. It's only marginally higher, which means this is probably the screen resolution for the 4.7 inch device, with a ~359 PPI, which is slightly higher than the 5/5S/5C's PPI of ~329. Not much of an improvement, but it's still an imporovement. -Anthony

  8. Please Please Please!! I mean, I have pretty good Voice coverage at my house, but I hate not being able to use all the features on my iPhone. Especially new features! -Anthony
  9. My father and I had 2 very pleasant Sprint CS experiences today. The first was a problem we were seeing on My Sprint on the website where the site said we had a balance of -$128.25 (because my father paid the bill, then made another payment because he was going out of the country so he wanted to have credit on his account for when they charged us for the next months bill), so we had a credit of $128.25 because he paid more than what the next months bill was going to cost, but there was a message above the balance saying something along the lines of "You have a previous balance on your account, collection services may be initiated if the balance is not payed. Please pay the balance to avoid a service interruption." So we were wondering "how can there be a balance if we have credit on the account?" So we call CS and we were very politely talked to and the woman got her supervisor looking at it and they fixed it all up for us in less than 15 minutes, including hold times. Our next experience today was, since my father was out of the country a couple days ago, he couldn't use his iPhone 5S because it wasn't unlocked. So, we decided, now that he's home, we would call to have his (and hopefully mine and my sisters') phone unlocked, because we will be traveling internationally more often. We call them up, they ask for his name, his phone number, a contact number in case they need to contact him, his account PIN, and she asks what we would like to do. He says "I would like to unlock my phone" and the woman goes silent for about 5 seconds and she says "Okay, your phone is now unlocked on my end." She then asked what else we would like, and we asked if we could unlock my phone and my sisters phone, too. She said she wasn't sure if she could, because they're only supposed to be able to unlock 1 phone per account per year. So then she asked to hold on a moment, and a few seconds later she says my phone is now unlocked, and then a few more seconds later she says my sisters' phone is unlocked. Very simple! These experiences are MUCH better than what I have experienced before, and it was very refreshing to experience. I used to have my father avoid calling CS like the plague, but now it doesn't seem like too much of a hassle anymore. Keep it up, Sprint! -Anthony
  10. Yes, if you aren't a registered developer or don't have your UDID registered on a UDID registration site, you will have to go back to iOS 7 and then update to iOS 8 from there. When you do the restore, I would suggest going to iOS 7, then restoring from a back up to put everything back on your phone, then update to iOS 8. I have yet to have a good experience when restoring from a back up once I am updated to iOS 8. Just a word of advice. Good Luck! -Anthony
  11. Is it something that makes the device unusable? Or is it just annoying? If it's the latter, you may just have to wait it out until beta 6 if you don't want to do a Restore. -Anthony
  12. The band priority is just the order in which the phone initially scans for LTE. Once you connect to LTE, the network will determine what band to put you on, and it will move you to that band. -Anthony
  13. It happened to me on one of the earlier beta versions, but stopped after I entered in my info a couple times. Hasn't happened since. Have you tried a soft reset? -Anthony
  14. The problem you are having is probably because not all the towers around you are upgraded. And Sprint's LTE maps are not accurate what-so-ever. If you want a good picture of what coverage is like around you, I suggest that you either use Sensorly, or think about becoming a sponsor. Becoming a sponsor helps keep the lights on at S4GRU, and you get TONS of priceless information, including, but no limited to, knowing the NV upgrade status and location of every single one of Sprint's Cell Sites. (Mods, remove this and shoot me a PM if this is giving too much info away). Best of luck to you! -Anthony
  15. Life may suck sometimes, but at least when it does, it makes a great story! -Anthony
  16. Wow... sounds like that was a pleasant experience... -Anthony
  17. Which is a loose date. 7 years is still a long time, especially in this industry. -Anthony
  18. Aw crap, I totally didn't consider it either! Oops! No more of that! -Anthony
  19. That PRL is completely different than what the OP is talking about. The PRL that the OP is talking about will make the device roam on Verizon all the time. The PRL you are talking about will allow a user to roam on Verizon EVDO in certain areas when they do not have native Sprint Coverage where they would otherwise be on Verizon 1x. -Anthony

  21. Like Josh said, we do not condone the use of Verizon PRL's. The "No Service" problem you are seeing is because you probably haven't installed the CommCenter (a part of iOS that allows you to freely modify your carrier bundle) patch for iOS 7. Without having that patch installed, any modification you do to your carrier bundle will result in "No Service" after a reboot and will not go away until you restore the device. -Anthony
