  1. You are right, onstar uses Verizon's network.
  2. The circle when sliding to answer a call is kind of awkward.
  3. If the iPad charger damaged iPhone batteries they would make the ports incompatible. They wouldn't want to warranty out people's broken phones because people are using the wrong charger.
  4. Nothing you can really do besides turn off the radio to save battery. What I will do in bad coverage spots is turn on Airplane mode and then turn wi-fi back on and periodically toggle airplane mode back off and on so I can see if I missed any calls or texts.
  5. Fiancé's 5 had the problem and Apple swapped it out no problem. My 5c has been doing it about once or twice a day but I haven't had the time to go to Apple.
  6. Used FaceTime over the weekend in Bakersfield with no problem. The only time I have problems with FaceTime is when I am on legacy 3G.
  7. Normally when this happens my phone will fall back to 1x and then reconnect to 3g. I think it caused by being in an area where the signal is too low.
  8. I thought I read that it can use your cellphone's data connection.
  9. It was only a matter of time. Should be a nice alternative to Sirius, which sounds like crap.
  10. Not something you would expect from a normal CEO. http://www.theverge.com/2014/1/3/5271130/john-legere-calls-att-desperate-after-advertising-to-his-customers
  11. I use Google Voice but as a second line and seperate from my Sprint number. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Sounds like an Off-by-one error. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. I just want to wake up in the morning and see the LTE icon at the top of my phone. I was just in San Diego and after seeing all the progress made I am even more excited that we are almost their as well.
  14. Thanks. It seems like that is the case, others are having the same problem.
  15. Same in the Arden area. I couldn't call anyone last night. I don't even attempt to use data anymore.
  16. Sometimes when calling people I can't hear the phone ringing or the person on the other end. The phone for the receiving party will still ring but when they answer they can't hear me either. Any ideas what could be causing this? -Tried ##update# and resetting network settings.
  17. It gets added to the list of products I would have used if I knew existed.
  18. The average user goes through a little over 700MB a month. So as long as the average stays reasonable Sprint won't have problems with keeping unlimited. Source: http://blogs.wsj.com/digits/2013/08/01/how-much-smartphone-data-do-you-really-need/
  19. So if a site is only 3G launched their isn't upgrade back-haul in place correct? So once the back-haul is upgraded is it just connect the cable and flip a switch on? I guess what I am wondering if it is just the back-haul or if they have to do another round of testing and cluster launching?
  20. I thought I read a year ago that Verizon had no new plans to expand FIOS to new areas.
  21. Sirius actually uses a lot of towers on the ground. If you are in a big city you are probably using a tower on the ground and not a satellite.
  22. OnStar uses Verizon's 3G network. I wonder how many other non-phone device are using 3G.
