How much was originally wanted?114 MHz price: $54,586,032,836
Be sure to add about $2 billion to account for the relocation fund and expenses.

That's honestly ridiculous. Idk how your contract is affecting the sale of the phone especially since it's a contract that sprint is still offering. I hope they find some sort of solution for you.

The explanation I got is that I preordered and used the upgrade. However, now that the phone has come in, sprint is not honoring the 2year upgrade through bestbuy so they are unable to activate it.
-
Bestbuy won't even let me buy it. It's stuck in POS.Go to a sprint store and have them activate it. Should be no problem.

Congrats lol you're definitely gonna enjoy. I've noticed that this year the Plus model is definitely more popular. Almost everyone ik whose upgrading got the Plus and passed on the regular 4'7' 7.

Well no dice. Being that I used a two-year contract for the device, sprint is not allowing for BB to activate it. Im stuck.

Just got the Bestbuy Mobile email. My 7+128 is ready for pickup. Ordered 9/14 received 10/11.

Stopped by Bestbuy yesterday and they said my black 7+ 128 was expected Tuesday/Wednesday. Finally. Fingers are still crossed.

Yeah I think whoever reported successful wifi call handoffs experienced a fluke.
On the brighter side, the new carrier settings alongside iOS 10 for Sprint hangs onto LTE sooooooo much better in my personal experience.
I haven't tested the LTE holding signal yet. I will tonight.

Runs great so far. Just little laggy for my 6 in some of the screen animations.I got my my update done with no problems. Phone is working good. No slows down that I am seeing. I don't use Wi-Fi calling so don't know about that.

Wifi calling to 3G doesn't work for me at all. I am disappointed.
-
Downloading..... It's taking forever!
Took 13 minutes at work. Lets see how bad this slows down my 6. Only thing I care about is wificalling to cdma handoff. If it works well, ill stick to ios10. If not, ill go back to ios9 .

What time will iOS 10 be released today?

I lost most of my hope !

I thought you left to TMO?

If Sprint starts putting those small cell on the westside, that would really improve things. Wonder if they have any plans for that.
I would think that would be easier than bring band 41. band 25 small cells from ericson would be awesome. They could deploy 7 to 10 at the same cost of 1 NV 1.0 tower (cost wise)

How much longer are you willing to wait? Most of there capex funding is geared towards small cells. So, is there still funding available at the moment for new lte plus sites? Thats all you guys need you already have 800mhz.

It is worth it for me with 5 lines and I pay less than I would with Verizon, ATT or Tmo. I have a work verizon hotspot and yes they may have more coverage but suffer from the same issues sprint does.
Yes it helps that band 26 is deployed and used as a bandaid fix for capacity. I think they should just come back and do the GMOs tha are left.
Not in a lot of places. We still have some that don't even have LTE (one of them is nearby my house)

I don't know where you live but in the heights I am pretty good except far north east heights.
-
Ya , the additional capacity is only 10×10mhz your right, but it sure beats sprint

Today. Im fine paying less waiting for band 41 deployment. Sprint demo 3xCA today and hit 285megs on an HTC10.

T-Mobile has some of the highest spectrum holdings In the country in El paso and Albuquerque. I use t mobile and sprint.. t mobile in El paso launched band 12 and some site have 3xCA enabled already...

I saw your speed test in the Tmo thread. It is nice but think about it. Your speed is basically 10x10 and that is it until GSM and HSPA is turned off.

el paso is supposed to get major upgrades next year. Just a quick update
Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
It is a canned response. THe upgrades you want would not help with signal indoors. Only 800 would help that and I think that is a while off for southern NM and El Paso.

And we thought there was going to just be 2 3xCA. Maybe internal testing showed that 4xCA would be worth it.

What would be the theoretical max for a 4x
-
Even if T-Mobile gets some 600 MHz spectrum in the auction, that won't do much to address its speed issues will it?
Not in the short term. Who knows when it would be available to be deployed. AWS-3 will help more as that could be deployed later this year to the next I think. Not completely positive on that.
-
Frankly I think that second carrier is more important short term. Abq and El Paso should have the availability to do so.Indeed! From just a brief talk last night, some towers should have work done by the end of this year.

Spectrum is not an asset like inventory.Still better than what it's valued at, which as this point in time makes it a gain on sale technically if they're applying Lower of Cost or Market on the asset.
Most telecoms record and recognize at historical cost. However with the new leasing standard effective for year end 2017 this will change.

Looks like the 2 Year Contract is being killed off on May 24th:
Sprint will kill off two-year contracts for the second time on May 24
Not available for new accounts
Yes (Reactive) for Upgrades and Add-a-line
How will this apply to Best Buy, Costco, etc.?
I perfer two year discount bc my firm will reimburse $200 for the upgrade. They do not reimburse for installment billing. That is probably the only reason I don't like it.

What does band 26 coming online in Alamogordo mean for El Paso
Sent from my HTC6545LVW using Tapatalk
I am not quite sure. It is positive as it means that Sprint can start to deploy in the IBEZ but I don't know if that means close or at the edge (which Alamagordo was)

Have you heard anything about sprint is holding off on adding 2.5 equipment on existing cell sites for now.
Sent from my SM-G928P using Tapatalk
No I haven't. I have seen a couple more sites modified from initial Ericsson RRU11's to RRU31 as a part of the 65 mhz project. That is it.
