Sprint should score better , but more b41 sites need to go live for sprint to rank higher
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I disagree. When you are outside of the condensed population centers (uptown, downtown, Jefferson area), speeds were quite fine. I would experience speeds 10 to 20 mbps. With additional band 25 to the already band 25 and 26, speeds have really gone up. I found that there testing was somewhat skewed as they wanted to know how at the airport and other places. Those places that had poor performance have band 25 CA and Band 41 (w or w/o CA).

Commnet used to be just 1x around the state and counted as roaming. Now it is shown as a mix of "3G" and LTE and counted as on network. So when up in Taos County, you'll be on Commnet LTE counted as native. I would have loved that when I lived there.

This is amaze ballz! So good for NM.

Right now I have only seen 2. The other three I have found are 8t8r.How many mini micros are their in Albuquerque...
sound like quite a bit density will come with that

I also like the mixture of band 41 8t8rs and mini macros. From my observation, busy locations are getting 8t8r and rural/neighborhood are getting mini macros. There is a mini macro on the Candelaria and San Pedro location.

Considering upload was in the normal range (4-6Mbps) I think it was CA!
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes it was. I was able to hit 50 to 55 mbps down at the Uptown site last week. There are quite a few sites around town that have the two panels are able to do B25 CA that I have found.

Didn't see this EARFCN on the tracking page (39874). Here is what I got on the interstate (I-40/Wyoming). I think it might be coming from EP03AL639 instead of the uptown site, I am going to double check in a few hours. Note 2xCA on the two sites I know of now.

Yes getting that earfcn downtown as well. No CA downtown though. Speeds are great on all bands though now. Band 26 is useable.

Wow! And I thought this day would never come!

Last week I got 50 MBA down with double the upload you have. I think they activated CA for B25 and 41. Awesome.
-
I work downtown and this morning speeds were flying. Ran a test and got 70mbs down. It makes me believe that CA is enabled now.
Also, I was in uptown and was not connected to band 41 but the second carrier band 25 and I hit 50mbs. I believe they have enabled CA for any location that is possible.

It will display through the Earfcn. Look up in field test mode.Could be a second carrier on band 25 .. which the i phone probably won't display

Let's see if sprint is going to support their claim
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
In what they are doing here in Albuquerque, I can see it happening.
-
Since sprint is supposedly starting volte trails .. they have made claims that all towers will be LTE by the end of July

Two 3G only sites have go to GMO LTE sites with old equipment. Far northeast heights. One is at County Line BBQ/Skating Rink and the other is along Paseo.

Sweet! They are moving for sure!

I think its fantastic and even better that they are lighting up two carriers. Don't even care about CA. Speeds on both B25 carriers around have picked up significantly. Band 26 is even usable downtown.
-
Probably testing, I went back about an hour later and it was gone.

I was in uptown on Sunday and the equipment on top of People's Tower was turned on!

I can't make any calls or have a data session this morning.

Let the B41 light up
Downtown is lit up. Two carriers are going with no CA. EARFCN is 39874 and 40072
Speeds last couple of weeks have been 1 to 3 megs and now it running at 15 to 30 megs.
Awesome to see two B25 carries, one B26 and two B41. Deploy it all and rule Albuquerque.

So this is good news!

Awesome news! Hopefully they are being strategic about sites.

For areas with 20x20 will the band be that big? I thought there were limitations on how large the band could be (i.e. Multiple lte carriers)T-Mobile will begin using 600 MHz spectrum later this year, well ahead of expectations
That line is interesting to me. They are going to be able to utilize this spectrum by EoY?

Thank you again.Earfcn calculator. Plenty of then on Google and the app store.

Do you think they will be able to aggregate this with 8665 being that the entire city has been upgraded to the new RRUs? I don't see any permits for band 41 so I would think that would be the easy way to increase speeds or deployment of band 25 small cells.Center frequency 1952.5 so a 5 MHz carrier in 1950-1955 pit of their 1945-1955 holdings.

Awesome. Thank you. Need to figure out how to calculate this.Center frequency 1952.5 so a 5 MHz carrier in 1950-1955 pit of their 1945-1955 holdings.

Depends. Downtown less than 1m. Far northeast heights was running 11-15 midday.how widespread is it ? And how are the speeds on it ?

I think this is the first second band 25 carrier in the ABQ market. Need an android to confirm.
