  1. I don't know exactly where you are. However, if you become a member, see link http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/1195-information-about-s4gru-sponsorship-levels-and-how-to-become-a-sponsor/ , you may pull up maps to review where the closest tower is. If a tower is right next to you, it may come down to building materials, foliage and other external factors.
  2. Also this is the first posting I have ever read about someone complaining about LTE service. Apparently no one can be satisfied.
  3. First off, Sprint is using 1900 PCS G Block. Secondly, the speeds you are noticing must mean you are on the outer ring of the tower near you. You have to have really low signal.
  4. I am confused. So the i5 doesn't have the proper prl to connect to smr ? Do u think this will be corrected later on?
  5. The @espn truck is outside for the New Mexico Bowl. I am going to show them my talents on the switcher so I can bust out of here!

  6. Has anyone downloaded Google Maps yet? If you haven't, I suggest it. It is actually pretty awesome. I think it is better than the Google Maps that was on my OG EVO.
  7. Sweet. I am day dreaming of a celluar network as vast and robust as the sound of what New Sprint will become. Amazing.
  8. With that being said, If this all goes through, Sprint would want to put this on ever tower like the current NV project? Or has this always been a part of the plan.
  9. Thinking ahead. Sounds like they will just "flip the switch" in July 2013?
  10. Exciting to see a strong third competitor in the market.
  11. What will 800 LTE be deployed? 5x5 and 2x2 MIMO (currently) or will it be 5x5 and 4x4 MIMO? edit: I understand it will not be until later half of next year. PS. Just curious.
  12. I will be honest when I visited SC this summer (MB and Charleston). I didn't think your speed was slow. However, I though your 1x coverage was awful. 800 SMR will help you greatly.
  13. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/12/06/t-mobile-iphone-apple-ipad_n_2250966.html Not surprising that Tmo finally took a bit of the apple.
  14. that kind of money in our 20's doesn't even last to make 30.
  15. I think it is possible if you have cleared your debt (house/car/cc). One million invested into a 5% Agency MBS provides $50,000 of interest annually. If this is an amount that one is already used to, perhaps one could live off a million for the remainder of their days. I find all of your theories are forgetting once simple principal. Once one person experiences monies beyond what they have always obtained (i.e., always obtained a salary of $40,000 over a year and now has $1 million in the bank) will inevitably spend in accordance of the sources he/she have.
  16. I understand your point. However, I travel to remote/desolate Indian reservations across the country (mostly western US, Midwest andsome Minnesota/Wisc). I have only found one place where sprint isn't (North/South Dakota). However, they have a roaming agreement with either USCell or Metro (not quite sure). I was able to get decent speeds and able to stay connected.
  17. I have the Ipad2 (purchased when Sprint did not have one). I essentially choose to do the wifi and add hotspot onto my data plan. Has worked well. Only complaint would be the 2GB of sprint. It is surprising how fast one eats through it. I went with the 16GB capacity. I have movies and games. pretty much it. I use it to keep myself preoccupied when I am traveling for work. I fly Southwest, so the $5 for internet works out really well.
  18. I agree. Verizon started deploying LTE back in 2009/2010 and do not have half of their 3g service.
  19. I lower interest rate market only influences companies to re-issue new debt at the lower interest rate to cover older debt at the higher rate. This is not the case. Sprint completely wiped the debt out; therefore, making its ratios for the YE look better (i.e., acid test, debt to equity, and current ratio). Edit: I stand corrected. This is such the case. See sprint's release.
  20. In ABQ, I have noticed the last two days that the wimax is flying compared to usual. Here is today: http://speedtest.net/result/2252369886.png Here is normal: http://speedtest.net/result/2246688774.png More than doubled.
  21. Hopefully soon, it will be the only place to pick up LTE. If my opinion AJ, totally worth a 20 minute drive (once I have like 10 devices like Robert here to test all at once).
