Minneapolis and suburbs are updated. Spark coverage was added, still a bit optimistic, at best, but the "Good", "Fair", and dead zone areas where LTE doesn't get to very easily seem to be more accurate in my area. Also, the massive push for Duluth, MN's towers being NV Complete and Spark enabled has been reflected in the map.

I don't know where you are in the MSP area, but the downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul areas are VERY good. Lots of Sprint B41 in addition to many Clearwire conversions. For the past 6 months I've had no issues save for my N6 double texting which has been fixed and isn't anything to do with the network.
-
Honestly, I'm not sure. I'm not the main account person so I can't get the exact numbers right now; it could be more than that but I'll try to double check. When I'm home this weekend I'll try. Oh, and I think the account has the Wells Fargo discount.

About $230/month for five phones on ED1500.

Why not use an exchange that supports donating bitcoins and then automatically converts to USD?

Yup, we're keeping track of the rollout in the premier section!

New gadget lets police detect when you're texting while driving

Maybe you should add it to the rules then. -

Not saying I totally agree with him, but this is the General Topics forum, isn't it? There are quite a few topics with literally 0 to do with any kind of RF technology or networks or anything of the sort. Why is discussing the politics of it suddenly against the rules? -
Did you catch any LTE?
-
At least Winona is somewhat usable for data and calling. Duluth is literally completely unusable at any time between about 7AM-8PM

Oh yeah, I totally get that. In terms of the one city, it kinda sucks, but as a whole, obviously Sprint is 1000x better where upgrades have already happened and Duluth doesn't reflect the network overall. I'm not saying he wasn't in the wrong, just that it is bad luck for him living in the only area of MN without any upgrades yet. -

Haha, a valid point. I could see why someone would brave the 8 months of cold for the 4 months of absolutely beautiful weather though -

If he had a Nexus 5, I'm sure he would at least have some coverage from the cheeseheads. But he's right about Sprint, not only is there no LTE there, but out of the 24 sites in MN with No NV Activity, Duluth accounts for ~21 sites. There has been no progress whatsoever in Duluth proper. Supposedly most sites there will be upgraded this summer though. -
I would say a G2 or a N5 (though there are apparently some issues in terms of reception with the latest update). They are both, to my knowledge, Spark enabled by default. To be fair though, I have a slight bias against Samsung and have not really looked into the S5 much.
-
I would also like to know if anyone has any info in regards to Spark being enabled by default on 4.4.3.

Just curious Robert, how does the time it takes to do a large update every week to NV Sites Complete compare to updating every day for a week?

I went from Minneapolis to Wausau tracking GCIs and only obtained one tower with B26 enabled. On the way back, legitimately, I am pretty sure almost every tower had B26. The only difference was that I installed the .15 radio on the way back, coming from .23
-
Probably the optimization in combination with whether or not B26 is enabled on any tower near you. That being said, I've had issues with the N5 on certain radios, especially the .15 one that everyone uses to get B41. Could that be it?
-
Forgot this was the public forum. Thanks!
-
Errr, what is the Site's ID? Not the GCI, but the ID?
-
Do know with 100% certainty which tower that is? Like, the ID of it when you click on it in the NV Sites Complete map?
-
I second this, every little bit helps. Once B26 starts rolling out in larger numbers, it will be helpful to have the tower GCIs extrapolated to where we can know what tower it is just by ID. Even if it's only one or two towers, every little helps!

Minneapolis also got launched finally!! Unfortunately, as per usual, I'm fairly certain the signal is WAY over-stated.

As a Minnesotan, YES I WANT SPRING. It's insanely cold up here obviously and doesn't seem to be warming up too much any time soon. I also want the warmth so the NV rollouts will speed up and people can actually stay outside for more than 30 seconds

I am also having the issue of stale info in the notification bar on my 4.4.2 ART CyanogenMod Galaxy Nexus. I do not clear apps from the recent list and don't have any task killers.
