It is possible if she downloads apps from outside the store that those apps can download other things. Just because an app says it's apple pay and looks like apple pay does not mean it is apple pay.

10x10 maxes out at 75Mbps and there is nothing in SCP saying that is what Band the phone was connected to. There is no GCI so the provider is stale info it could be B41.
-
Not sure what it could be. I have been to cranberry a couple times not yet North or West of it yet. The times I have been there it has been B41 as normal. Have you called sprint or gone into a local store? They should have some idea if work is going on if they look at the schedule.

It just means the GCI last 2 digits matches what was seen as a second carrier. It does not mean CA just that it is possible a second carrier is there to share the load of users. -
Looks like SoftBank's satellite trail went ok enough to push forward. I still think this would be a good option for rural deployment until fiber can be run. IPtrunk of 1Gbps should be enough for rural sites. Satellite total capacity seems to double the total capacity every couple years looking at only the ViaSat-1(150 Gbps live),ViaSat-2(350Gbps building) and ViaSat-3(1Tbps and planning)

maximum speeds attainable?
Flompholph replied to shaferz's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
Yes, most newer flagship phones. Cat 6 That is all PR. No planned modems can handle that yet meaning many many years down the road. And things have changed such as a max of 85Mbps per 2x2 20MHz block. Hopefully they increase the QAM so for those times you are near the antenna you get higher speeds. -

Upto 4x4 and yes that is the difference but show me a Cat 5 device on sprint. It is number 1. MIMO reuses spectrum and carrier aggregation adds a different block of spectrum. A device can be 4x4 MIMO and CA two 20Mhz blocks for a total of 8 spacial streams but that is 2+ years away only in labs testing now. -
Network Vision/LTE - Puerto Rico/Virgin Islands Market

Umm. . . no PCC and SCC have values. Just over crowded with number of users. -
maximum speeds attainable?
Flompholph replied to shaferz's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
No that is what we were trying to tell you A is one point such as the tower and B is another point such as the UE. -
maximum speeds attainable?
Flompholph replied to shaferz's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
Because the UE is 2x2, 4x2, or 4x4 on the download side of the UE. People don't talk about the 1x? upload side because no one really cares about upload that much. If people cared about upload they would say "my 2x2 SU-MIMO down and 1x1 SU-MIMO up device sucks on the upload. It is always half my download speeds on an empty site." -

Flompholph replied to shaferz's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
When talking about MIMO you are talking only one direction So your device is n x 2 for download and 1 x j for the upload. n is eqaul to or less than the number of antennas on the site. j is the number of antennas on the site used to listen. Sprint B41 is 8t8r 8 transmit and 8 receive. They plan on 2 different 4x2 chains for now they could support 8x2 but they don't. There are no 4x4 devices yet so no plan on using 4x4 chains yet. -

I think you are confusing tower MIMO and UE MIMO. All LTE devices are 2x2. Some towers are 4x2 MIMO meaning two phone each could be using 2x2 MIMO. The tower and the phone both have to be 4x4 capability to double the speed (4x4 means 4 spatial streams from the tower to 4 antennas on the phone.) -

There is at least 14 sites with 2nd carrier B25 live right now. nTelos is pretty good so far with LTE I believe it made it out of the worst 5 Markets. From my experience Western PA(1 LTE),Alabama(no B41),SC(no B41), Myrtle Beach(no B41)are worst than nTelos with B41. Not saying there is no room for improvement just that nTelos market has seen a large improvement from the past. -
The wall is the home page of s4gru.com or the top left of the forum. S7 is coming out in about 2 Months and it is Cat 12/13. Most phones are snapdragon and with snapdragon 810 they are Cat 9. Snapdragon just announced a x16 modem upto 1Gbps Cat 16/13 but it will probably be another year before it goes into devices. https://www.qualcomm.com/products/snapdragon/modems Sprint won't see those speeds because they use a lower QAM. Maybe they will increase the QAM in DAS(stadiums) situation but i don't know.
-
You can look at "The Wall" here at the site. The staff does a good job of going through FCC doc. I believe you will have to look at what modem the device has for a better understanding of the capabilities. But there are limits imposed by the network like highest level of QAM based on acceptable interference for the network. The best "device" is a personal choice based on needs, wants, and general personal feelings. Any B41(spark) capable hotspot will do.

Shentel B41 is live in some places I have connected to a few. If you look a couple posts up someone post an image showing B41 in york. Shentel has always said it will be limiting deployment to data heavy areas.

Sprint Super Bowl Coverage/DAS
Flompholph replied to RedSpark's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
I like the part were he says Cheating on the test. So throttle your most of the stuff your users do except for speed test is not cheating on the speedtest. I think the throughput of the networks would be a bigger win if Tmobile was able to do that. Anyone find numbers from Sprint or TMobile. Verizon 7TB https://twitter.com/VerizonNews/status/696551515704709120 ATT 5.2TB https://twitter.com/ATT/status/696565959121903616 Both big numbers. -
Will 600MHz affect the future of 4K over-the-air broadcast?

Are you willing to pay for OTA TV? How many people would be pissed that they have to pay for TV that they have been getting for free? -
I am sure you will see a lot of post here if lte is turned on in erie. Sprint Zone app seems to be the place to report slow data speeds maybe with enough different people they will look to fix it. I don't think you will see usable 3g until they start launching LTE just to many people. I also don't think B25/B26 will survive by itself for to long there once people know they can use it. I know a lot of areas in State College I don't even think about streaming any audio or look up anything on a map.

I am confused before you said you were connected to B41(LTE Plus). We don't know what base stations are installed in specific places. So maybe? there are tri band site so depends what you mean be "Network Vision". nTelos at one point said they were going a different direction. -
As with all marketing this is spin they do not mention ookla other than to say it is a speedtest that tells you how fast you can go if no speed restrictions. Nielsen shows how fast people are going doing normal daily tasks. RootMetric shows sprint is improving data speeds. BingeOn will always hurt Nielsen's test because Tmobile throttles video to 1.5 Mbps so that kills their average. Verizon and ATT most like likely don't hit peak speeds because people probably don't stream as much video on those plans because of data limits(They don't use as much data per month as Sprint and T-Mobile).

21 inches so far more to come. It may be to a little to much for my little garden tractor. Still fun to get stuck though.
