  1. Fingers crossed that 800 MHz is coming on around here, Metro Detroit, Rochester Hills, for real!! It will help me a lot!
  2. Robert/ Team... need your help. I have made a donation through Paypal. Ram14250 is my what it will come through as, but it's DRO1984 on this site. Can you please assist.
  3. Glad about the airport. It's always been pretty strong around there, but I'm still waiting for B26. Mirror mirror on the wall, when will Detroit get B26 for all?
  4. Yeah, kinda what I see up in the north burbs... CA sites coming on here and there... that's about it. But if nothing else, I'll take it. Speeds are pretty good too!
  5. Hello Eastern Michigan Market... Anything new going on? Any Band 26 sightings yet east of Lansing or anything else new in the Detroit metro area?
  6. Hello Robert and Team! Wondered if there was any news on implementing 800mhz in Detroit area yet? I'm still impressed that I can sometimes pull a weak B41 signal in my house, so 800 would just be frosting on the cake.
  7. What sub-directory is the thread. I cannot access it from work? Is it another "Members Only folder"?
  8. Well... that's not very close... that's more than 1/2 way across the state.. west of Lansing which is 1/2 way point in state. I guess it will be a while before we see it. Maybe longer with the new Sprint plan to relocate on to "Government" property and towers...
  9. Just wondering.... I thought one of the FCC requirements when auctioning off 700 MHz years ago was carrier interoperability?
  10. Does anyone know if Sprint will ever share or roam on T-Mobile's or AT&T's 700 MHz? I thought the FCC mandated roaming abilities on the 700 band?
  11. Does anyone know if Sprint is still adding Band 41 coverage and updating radios at it's towers around Detroit area? I can get band 41 around my home, but if i go into town more, or travel around, it's still mostly Band 25 (1900 mHz)?
  12. Was a weekend special at Sam's Club only. They also waved the activation fee. Couldn't pass up the deal. Iphones and Sumsung Galaxy models were all included, but at different prices.
  13. Pretty amazed so far... I just bought a new Galaxy Note 5 and I have B41 all around my house! I can actually get a decent signal inside. I have downloaded Signal Pro and from my town's maps, I am pulling in old Clear Towers nearby. The Sprint towers are all about 1.5 to 2 miles each, away from me. The Clear tower that is about 10 blocks away! Lets see a Note 5 for $49 bucks/2year contract and a strong signal in the house. Merry Christmas to me!!!
  14. I thought everything was clear with the FCC and Canadian border rebanding now? Anyone know when we might start seeing B26?
  15. Thank you all for the information! Greatly appreciated. I have a question; I can get a new Galaxy S6 for under a hundred bucks at my Sam's club. Should I get it? It's Tri-Band, with Carrier aggregation, correct? Or should I wait a little longer? I can use my 2 year contract update for it, but don't know how long Sprint will still do contracts... Confused.. don't know whether to get it or wait for something better? Is there something better to take advantage of all the latest signal technology?
  16. Does Sprint only broadcast LTE on 800 or doe it use 800 for CDMA as well? In short, as I'm not the best at this, what all is 800 MHz used for with Sprint? So I also don't get Band 41 either it guess, as my device isn't equiped to use that frequency either?
  17. What current Sprint smart phones would allow me to connect? I don't usually upgrade often, but Sprint seems to force you to. I had my first HTC phone with WiMax which never materialized around my house but was promised many times. Then I upgraded to my One which doesn't seem to be able to take advantage of the network speeds.
  18. I thought the HTC One had the antenna and such to receive 800MHz? From Phonescoop: less detail LTE (4G) band 25 / 1900 MHz PCS+G (USA (Sprint)) WCDMA (3G / 4G) band 1 (I) / 2100 MHz IMT (Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania, Brazil, India, Israel) band 2 (II) / 1900 MHz PCS (Americas) CDMA (2G / 3G) 800 MHz / band 27 / BC10 ESMR (Americas (Sprint)) 850 MHz / band 5 / BC0 Cellular (Americas, Oceania, Brazil, Israel) 1900 MHz / band 2 / BC1 PCS (Americas) GSM (2G) 850 MHz / band 5 Cellular (Americas, Oceania, Brazil, Israel) 900 MHz / band 8 (Europe, Asia, Africa) 1800 MHz / band 3 DCS (Europe, Asia, Africa) 1900 MHz / band 2 PCS (Americas) Verizon version supports LTE band 13 instead of 2
  19. Same here. I have to operate on CDMA only on my One. If I change it over to CDMA and LTE, the 4G signal is so weak that it drains the battery as it searches and switches back and forth between CDMA and LTE. I'm waiting patently. I know things will start getting fun once the tower work begins again. I just wish I knew any upcoming game plan and when Sprint will begin work in SE Mich again.
