  1. Robert or others, any time frame updates for Band 26 deployments on your radars for SE Michigan? Hoping and praying everynight! :-)
  2. Anyone know, is there any more news on 800MHz in the Great Lakes region (Mainly Michigan and Detroit burbs)? I was able to pull 4G down for the first time in my house last week. (1 bar). I ran Speed test, was faster, but not by much compared to 3G. Am really hoping to experience 4G and see more than 3 bars on my HTC One in house. Hoping 800 is being deployed as we speak? Anyone know?
  3. Jefbal99, let's hope that Sprint will handled things better now. I'm sure with the new equipment installed, it won't take much to install 800MHz. Robert, please tell me better news.
  4. I've been away for a long while on the forum here... Question: So does this mean that Southeast Michigan will get 800MHz coverage soon too? Wonder how long? Canada is literally only across the river so we were not lucky to ever have 800 MHz coverage under Sprint here. So frustrating because Verizon has 700MHz and 850MHz all over the area.
  5. Signal is much better for me. Once my whole area is complete, it should be fantastic!!... Even without 800 MHz..
  6. Thank you, but I'm not very technical with the upgrade side of things. It shows 2 of the 4 antennas are 3G/4G? and 2 other are red 3G?? I really don't know what that means or if backhaul has been completed?? How do I find out about backhaul? Thank you for your information. Appreciate it.
  7. Can anyone here, maybe Robert or ?? tell me where we are here in Rochester Michigan (48309) with upgrades? I've tried reading the other areas but am at a loss as to when things will be improving! I'm like a kid waiting for a new toy to play with! :-) I think a couple of towers are upgraded but am not sure??
  8. Thank AJ for explaining this. I appreciate your honesty. I'm glad Sprint is making what will be huge improvements for us all. Hopefully I will experience better (if even slightly) coverage in my house soon. Comm'on 4G!
  9. I guess I don't understand? If Nextel was able to broadcast on that frequency, then why is Sprint not able or willing to? Canada and or Michigan haven't moved last I looked. This absolutely is typical Sprint. Build up hopes only to fudge it up and crush, stamp it like a stale cigarette butt. I'm about 1 1/4 miles from one Sprint antenna and about 1 1/2 from the other. Nextel had one about 1/2 mile away from me. The Nextel one was decommissioned. (Lucky me!) and the others have not had 4G installed, but for what ever reason, in the last 2 months, the signal strength has gotten weaker by just enough that I have to be careful where I'm at in my house now to make calls. Please, someone tell me there is something to look forward to in the near future??!!
  10. I live in the Northern/ Northwestern Suburb of Oakland (Detroit). Will this area be getting 800mhz deployment or will it not due to Canada being so close to us? I thought I heard that Sprint will not use 800 everywhere but I'm hopeful I will get some in my area, because the 1900 mhz doesn't go far enough for me.
