I know Vince has brought it up and I had a placebo effect after 8.2, but how is everybody's experience with the scanning times after the 8.3 and carrier update? I seem to be on LTE more when in a moving vehicle (especially on the freeway), and on fringe B41 or fringe B25/borderline EVDO only areas it scans back and forth like crazy. As well, voice seems to be parked on 1x800 most of the time at work in the building where it was mostly weak 1x1900 before. I don't even need the WiFi calling there, voice works great. I think I'm having a genuine experience this time, no placebo. Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk

I upgraded to 8.2 on launch day, and DND worked fine until last night. Email dings woke me up twice [emoji35], I'm a light sleeper. I had to manually silence, we'll see what happens tonight. Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk

They eliminated page swiping in threads as well. One step forward, two steps back. Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk

The average person wouldn't even know if they have an 8 Mbps connection or not. And if that's reason for them to leave Sprint, let 'em. Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk

Very likely cut to 5 MHz TDD, I thought I was the only one using WiMAX in my area. To my surprise, upon doing a search for WiFi networks in my house I saw two other WiFiRSU_xxxxx networks (a dead giveaway for Clear). That would explain the congestion. I use it strictly as a backup (not to mention I'm a bit nostalgic) and it is very reliable. At least until November.

I'd use spotlight search if I wasn't so set in my ways...takes me a month to get used to anything different. Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk -

How did you get it to work with the Surf SOHO? I tried to tether via USB and it wouldn't connect. Tried WiFi as WAN, and it worked but there was too much interference so data was flaky. Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk -
Just goes to show how much B41 means to the overall quality of Sprint's network, and how much the additional Clear towers complement what's existing. I spent 30 minutes today with a representative explaining what was happening the best I could before she could confirm there was a problem, in the end she was very helpful. I've sent a report via Sprint Zone and also called customer service and opened a ticket. He said this one will "go straight to our engineers to make sure we get you back up and running, please disable LTE on your smartphone to ensure CDMA connectivity" (unnecessary due to the circumstances, but whatever). I'll update you guys if I notice anything resolved. Sent from my iPad Air using Tapatalk

Seems to be a widespread issue. I'm in north OC and all Clear towers in my immediate area are down. Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk

I've tried whitelisting all my devices, extending lease time to 9999, giving everything static IP's...nothing works. My old iPod Touch that is stuck on iOS 6 never has WiFi problems. I'm starting to think of iOS 8 as a semi-polished turd. I guess I was hoping that I wouldn't have to spend any more money on equipment and Apple would just "fix it" Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk

I see nothing about a WiFi fix. I have a 5, a 6 and an iPad Air. While all on the same WiFi network, sometimes a device will just not pull anything unless rebooted while the other devices are fine. It never happens on my laptop, Nexus 7, or Lumia so I'm having a hard time believing it's my router. Frustrated and tired of waiting. Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk

Enjoy being a premier sponsor...I spent five hours on the site in one sitting when I became one... -
I got up to 12 Mbps regularly on my Evo a few years ago on my home tower before Clear converted to dual mode WiMAX/LTE. Now my Clear Hub Express never pulls more than 6 Mbps on WiMAX but iPhone 6 has pulled 73 Mbps on LTE. Not sure if dual mode uses the same backhaul or not, there are small microwave dishes on each sector.

The first time I see one of these one of the things in the wild I'm going to be like a tween meeting Taylor Swift in person. I hope my wife is not in the car with me when it happens, she already thinks my Sprint obsession is borderline freakish. Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
