  1. The conversations I had with Apple and Sprint were comical...they had no idea what to make of my knowledge of the network and my troubleshooting results. We know too much. Sent from my iPhone 6s Plus using Tapatalk
  2. I messaged them back with a screenshot of a failed Speedtest, they replied back with "Type a reply..." I don't know what to make of that honestly.
  3. I tweeted Marcelo, who then forwarded to Sprint Care Please excuse my terrible grammar... Sent from my iPhone 6s Plus using Tapatalk
  4. No tricks, just a whole lot of double clicks on the home button, switching between dialer and Speedtest. Pretty easy when sitting in standstill traffic for an hour and a half (I know, I'm a bad person for doing that [emoji57]) The *3001#12345#* stays populated so you just have to hit call. When Field test bugs out, just go back to dialer and hit call again...some fields populate correctly. I could never find PLMN on Field Test. Needless to say, I turned off LTE because of this Clear B41 problem. So many of the towers in LA are Clear that my data hangs 50% of the time. Surprisingly though, EVDO is working for my basic needs as I have excellent WiFi at home and work. I wonder if this is just a 6s Plus issue...ugh. Sent from my iPhone 6s Plus using Tapatalk
  5. I've had to turn off LTE. I'm going to revert back to 9.2.1 tonight. I tweeted Sprint Care, network team is "investigating" Sent from my iPhone 6s Plus using Tapatalk
  6. The 9.3 update and carrier bundle 24.1 broke Clear B41 for me on my 6s Plus. I'm in the LA/OC market. It happened as well with the public beta, so I reverted back to 9.2.1 last month. Updated to the gold master yesterday...the problem resurfaced. After logging 80 miles on my commute and feverishly switching between Field Test and Speedtest, I can pretty much confirm that Clear B41 is the problem. Sprint B41 and B25 seem to be fine. I've noticed that the Clear TAC in my market changed from 9xxx to 3xxxx since the WiMAX shutdown. Anyone else experiencing this bug in their market? Sent from my iPhone 6s Plus using Tapatalk

  8. Not sure, but I think that they are city owned. I have observed (as seen in the photo) that many street light poles around the areas surrounding these sites have small receivers installed. The city replaced the old high pressure sodium street lights with LED fixtures over the past few years, and wants to be able to remotely dim and brighten the lights at will using wireless technology...perhaps that is what these sites are for, as well as leasing to wireless providers eventually for extra revenue.
  9. From Phillips and Ericsson. They're all over Hollywood.http://www.newscenter.philips.com/main/standard/news/press/2015/20151106-los-angeles-is-the-worlds-first-city-to-deploy-philips-smartpole-street-lighting.wpd#.Vs5JyRQ76JI Sent from my iPhone 6s Plus using Tapatalk
  10. I wish I would have read this post first...installed 9.3 public beta last night and broke my LTE connection. Data timing out even though strong connection, more than half the time. Sometimes data works, sometimes it doesn't. As well, email attachments cannot download even when on WiFi. Deleting the data profile, how do I downgrade back to 9.2? Is it as easy as restoring the backup I made in iTunes? EDIT: Restored, all is well. No more betas for me.
  11. My apologies, should of stated...I'm in Brea, California. I'm on 9.2.1, and haven't had any problems so far. Maybe try the usual things...reset network settings, carrier update...worth a try. Sent from my iPhone 6s Plus using Tapatalk

  13. Nice to see progress, thanks for the explanation [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone 6s Plus using Tapatalk
  14. Starting to see an extra microwave dish being installed on many of the Clear sites around town, now there are three where there were typically two. Could this be in preparation for the WiMAX shutdown and 2XCA? Sent from my iPhone 6s Plus using Tapatalk

  16. Four of the five sites already had the 800 RRUs and were west of the 605 freeway, as most sites east of the 605 do not have the 800 RRU's except for sites upgraded within the past few months (I'm guessing the San Bernardino County rebanding issue). The pictured site (Fullerton) was upgraded to full NV 1.0 including the 800 RRUs a few months ago, along with another site about 2 miles west (La Habra). Both of those sites are roughly 10-12 miles into the exclusion zone. I have not seen 800 RRU's added to any of the other previously upgraded sites in the exclusion zone yet. Another site I have not yet mentioned just received 8T8R last month. Lots of activity here.
  17. Sprint is definitely doing some optimization here in LA/OC. I've seen boom lifts at 5 different sites on my commute in the past month that have already been upgraded previously, including my home tower in Fullerton. I've been picking up B25 on my phone in areas where normally I'd drop to EVDO. I like it, I like it a lot. Sent from my iPhone 6s Plus using Tapatalk
  18. What the heck is this? Sent from my iPhone 6s Plus using Tapatalk
  19. You can scroll down notifications view from the top of the screen within the field test mode as well and see -dBm EDIT...if you just want to see -dBm without changing to dots. The "back to" button annoys me in field test Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
  20. Just picked up my 6s Plus. This is my first CA experience. #sprintforward Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
  21. Just reinstalled Tapatalk Pro. I kind of missed the old layout, like an old friend. I think I'll stay here awhile.
  22. Unless his weather widget is giving info for a different area, it ain't OC [emoji295]️ Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
  23. That thing is a hot mess...I love it! I would hope to see that kind of setup on some of the canyon roads here in SoCal... Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
  24. In Orange County, CA on an 80 degree night at Oktoberfest. Right next to a Clear tower. Life is good! Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
