    I just came from my sprint store and I didn't even think to check or ask about it. The note 3 is pretty nice(except for the look touchwiz) though but $700 off contract is a little beyond what I am willing to do right now especially with the nexus 5 coming in around half that price I am sure. I would also rather pay 350(assuming that will be the price) with no contract for the nexus 5 than to pay $350 with a 2 year contract for the note 3.

    Yeah I know and if I didn't take the wait and see approach I would have had to deal with these issues for sure versus just updating twrp and flashing everything else all at once with no issues like I just did.

    The One and GS4 came out exactly one week apart from each other, at least on sprint.

    I agree but when it comes to updates they have been on the ball even with the bloated mess that is touch wiz.

    I am actually surprised that htc was able to beat samsung out of the gate with 4.3.

    I knew sprint would have been the first one out the gate, now just waiting for my dev of choice to get this thing ready to flash.

    My dad has a galaxy s2 and my step mom has an iphone 5. Most times when I call either of them, they will end up having to call me back from their land line when they get back to the house.

    You're in Ocala? My dad has a retirement home there which I visit frequently and I get fairly decent coverage in and around that area(including lte) but there are also a few places where service would seem to have a mind of its own. I need to add though that my dad and step mother has att service and its pretty bad in that area, definitely worst that sprint in my opinion.

    Personally, I haven't had any performance issues whatsoever on my one. I also have a habit of doing a reboot just about every morning just to keep things clear so that may help if you don't already do that.

    One of my best friends suffers from extreme motion sickness. Anything from playing first person shooters to air travel or riding in a car that he isn't driving makes him sick as hell. He does have an iphone 5, not sure if he updated his or not but I will ask him and see if it bothers him.

    Yeah, if its priced at around $350 with at least 16gb to 32gb of memory, I don't see how I can pass that up.

    Again, all these leaks and rumors are coming from the same chinese source. I don't even know what to think anymore and I am starting to lose patience with htc myself. I do want a phone with a larger screen so I will wait to see how the one max stacks up to the competition then make my decision from there. Honestly though, I think I may end up with a nexus myself.

    How can you say the one max will be a bust and its not even available yet? Its great that you will get a note 3, I may end up with one as well being that I have several lines on my account but saying that the one max will be a bust is ridiculous being that there isn't much known about the device other than the rumors thats been coming out of china which we all should take with a grain of salt.

    Thats just a matter of opinion, some people value the less is more approach. Not everyone wants the bloated mess that is touchwiz but thats the beauty of android, CHOICE, unlike apple which has a one size fits all approach.

    Can't remember what part of the island you said you were on but are you getting any decent 4g coverage?

    Come to think of it, the issue could also be that of capacity. I have noticed some towers on my side of town will still give me 25 to 30meg down during the day but other towers in more conjested areas would barely get me to 2megs down during the day.
