You're right, I won't.. B26 deployment has barely begun in MI, but someone in a mature market who has tested multiple radios might be able to weigh in.

My market is mostly complete on band 26 but sprint has the downtilt pointed so low that the band 26 signal is about the same strength as band 25. Also I believe Robert says that when band 26 goes online its at minimal power.

All the time? Considering my phone is with me literally all day, every day.

 

Aesthetics aren't the only thing I care about, trust me. But Apple is known for their design language. People do have expectations.

 

That being said, my G3 is more than meeting my expectations. I doubt I'll get an iPhone 6 at this point, unless it features CA or some other game changing feature - although, doubtful at this point.

Everyone at s4gru knows Apple is not going to do anything game changing. So looks like you'll have your g3 for a while lol. I was thinking about the iPhone 6 but I think I'll stick to my nexus phone and my FREE iPad mini with retina.

I recently left the .15 radio for the stock 4.4.4 radio is and it's still beasting my wife's iPhone 5s. I still get lte in places where she's on 3G.

Life would be so much simpler, easier if "unlimited" data would sensibly go away. Then, subs could use any/all of their data for browsing, streaming, tethering, or however they please.

 

As an analogy, there is good reason why an all you can eat buffet might have a "children eat free" with paid adult meal night -- but limit it to children 10 and under. The 180 pound, 17 year old may be a "child" but is wisely excluded. And in the last several years, that "boy" is what smartphones have grown into in their data capabilities.

I don't mind unlimited going away. What I don't want to happen is unlimited go away then carriers decide that they want to throw additional fees top of data buckets for connecting to certain applications or services. If I have a 2 GB plan I want to use my 2GB how ever I please.

I've been watching my engineering screens to see if I get any B41 but nothing yet.

Same here I haven't seen anything on the engineering screen but the lines are still hanging from the tower. So I assume that the work is still on going. I haven't seen anymore of these installs around town. I got eyes wide open though. ????

Is there any way on the n5 to change the LTE scan time? I just recently switched by to the 4.4.4. Radio coming from the .15 radio and it seems that the newer radio has a longer scan time window than the old .15 radio.

I recall reading about this plan and the $50 unlimited talk/text/data.

Anyone know what other plans were being trialed?

The RRUs in my pic look like Ericsson ones from Sprint. Obviously ATT but looks like Ericsson is a huge vendor for the south area for ATT and Sprint.

Yes they do. Either the new equipment is for WCS or more AWS that ATT acquired from Cricket.

So here in Tyler, East Texas, ATT has started expanding to new sites, 3 so far brand new monopoles. It seems these newer sites are being installed with WCS ready equipment. Anyone else seeing sites like these?

 

I've seen some sites like this in Jacksonville Florida. I've even seen some where they went back swapped out a panel or two for newer panels and added more RRU's.

Wasn't easy but not that hard. Biggest thing is some of them are not aware of the loop hole to merge existing accounts. Also they don't speak English very well lol

Once I got a rep that spoke English the process was simple. It took me over an hour to do that. Has your account info online been updated to framily yet?

Some accounts are eligible for a merge and if they aren't, a call to Executive Services could probably fix that. There are lots of people that have asked for it.
