Went to the Jacksonville fair today. My Sprint experience was nice I was on LTE the whole time. Last year the fair grounds didn't have band 25 LTE. Now 1 year later it has all three bands. I didn't run any speed tests but anything that needed internet on our phones worked with no lag. My nexus 5 was on band 41 95% of the time only falling to band 26 when going into the agriculture center to see the animals. Its good to have a great network experience without having to give away our wallets. Can't wait for more 88er action.

What I am curious about is what if sprint had the Iphone exclusively instead of ATT. Maybe NV wouldve kicked off earlier, Wimax may of never really kicked in, or maybe Wimax wouldve been the standard.
Wimax would have been standard if it was deployed in the 700band. I feel that because it was deployed in the 2500 band it didn't get the credit it deserved.

I'm sure a lot of people saw the size of the N6 and decided to go with the N5
They saw the price also

Is there a way to install 5.0 directly by downloading to my phone and using TWRP to install? Or do I have to download to my computer and use Fast boot, etc?
There is some flashable zips on XDA. Thats what I used. Then use CF auto root to get root access again. Just make sure you have the latest twrp installed.

how about band 25/26 guys? any different with the official L?
Band 25/26 seems to be the same as the 4.4.4 radio but band 41 seems to be improved though.

Good score at O'Hare!

MDW, VZ wipes the floor.
The first time I've ever seen sprint win a rootmetrics test. Hopefully they can do this in multiple cities around the US.

Still doesn't show which models (32 or 64gb) they are going to carry.

Another great experience with Sprint. I was at a family members apartment. In which these apartments are at least 50yrs old and it constructed out of brick and has concrete walls inside. Long story short its reception hell. My wife's iPhone 5s was the only device there out of all four national that had a usable signal thanks to band 26 LTE. It amazes me how much sprint has improved.

They removed nextel equipment on a tower close to my house yesterday. I thought that part of network vision was over already
There's two towers that I know of in JAX. That still has nextel panels still up but I don't know about the base station equipment.

Got an email from Motorola saying the order was canceled, no reason was given. I called and waited on hold for 45 minutes before just giving up, but apparently they're canceling a lot of people's orders and either saying they aren't actually canceled or are re-creating them and bumping them to the end of the queue.
It looks like Sprint will be carrying the 64GB model if their Twitter rep is correct: https://twitter.com/mpat95/status/530785479428280320. So I'll probably just pick one up from Sprint if I can't get one on Google Play on Wednesday. I wonder if it'll be in stores or online only?
I'm still not convinced that Sprint will carry the 64GB. The first couple lines are just generic responses that is probably scripted. I'll wait until the devices goes on sale.

I've noticed that Sprint's crews have been going back to NV sites and replacing the bottom 2 RRUs and replacing them with one smaller RRU.

I think LTE would 2-4 years later than it is

I give that credit to Wimax for lighting fire under the other carriers starting the 4G race.

The iPhone definitely made carriers upgrade their networks especially AT$T.

It's strange that this guy is reporting $699 retail for the 32 GB model. Both Motorola and Google's website show $650 for the 32 GB model and $699 for 64 GB. Either he's mistaken, Sprint's system isn't finalized yet, or Sprint is charging $50 more than it should.
Both Sprint and T-Mobile marked up the Nexus 5 last year. I don't see why this year would be any different.

Sounds like Sprint will start selling it on the 14th. 32GB Midnight Blue only, $299 on contract (or $29/month), $699 retail. I was hoping they'd at least have the 64GB available online but the employee posting doesn't see any other SKUs in the system.

I guess I'll save my pennies and buy mine from the Play Store. Since they are not carrying the 64 Gigabyte variant.

A quick glance at their site, looks like you can pay $50 for 3GB of LTE, or $60 for 10GB of LTE. And buy your phone unless you have a compatible device.
Last time I checked the speeds are limited to 8mbps also. Which is more than enough but he won't be having any ePenis contest.

I got 4hrs of SOT yesterday the best I've gotten on this phone since I purchased it last November. I also removed a bunch of preloaded apps I don't use with titanium backup.
