  1. It doesn't take up extra voice channels. In fact, CDMA 1xAdvanced gives you 4 times the capacity per channel. https://www.qualcomm.com/invention/technologies/ev-do/1x-advanced
  2. The fact that so many sites already have CA enabled is awesome, and will only get better once small cells are deployed to fill gaps in B41 coverage.
  3. That's the thing buddy, the FCC didn't do anything wrong. T-Mobile didn't spend enough money, simple as that. This isn't a welfare state where spectrum is doled out for free.
  4. You seriously can't blame the FCC for T-Mobile's lack of money, right? Sprint PCS was created by purchasing free-market rate PCS spectrum, something Voicestream at the time avoided.
  5. Increasing site density is the only fix for limited spectrum, and limiting customer usage by things like Binge-On and throttling. No matter the carrier, an all-you-can-eat buffet won't be sustainable.
  6. That would make zero sense not to include B41 CA. As far as the chipset information for the DAC and such, we'll have to wait for a breakdown from iFixit or something similar. This is my new phone, day one purchase. Goodbye Galaxy S6.
  7. Screw the damn results for a second. How about a reality check? 2nd B41 carrier was turned on throughout the entire NYC Metro market over a week or two, and everyone's speeds increased overnight. That's real world results. We are seeing reports of small cells coming online in markets across the country.
  8. Looks bad to whom exactly? How many of the customers who walk into the retail stores every day even understand what a bond is?
  9. A lot of the B41 work goes under the radar, especially in Samsung Clearwire sites.
  10. Man I'm getting a little hyped up for this phone. Just need a good mobile camera.
  11. Anyone working in WTC 1 or visiting the Observation Deck? Curious how service is there.
  12. Yeah, what's happening is in select markets Sprint is able to either broadcast a single 10x10 B25 carrier for LTE, or 2 separate 5x5 B25 carriers, both which help for capacity, and the 10x10 for speeds.
  13. Pretty much most of the Samsung Clearwire equipment could support it, at least in this market (NY, NJ, CT)
  14. I was under the impression they are building off existing protection sites.
  15. If that's B41 only it's probably a Clearwire tower so you may not see Sprint NV there. In my market there are a bunch of Clearwire only sites.
  16. Yeah but I'm referring to total number of towers, regardless of location.
  17. I'm not so sure about that claim, as it doesn't make sense if you consider Verizon and AT&T's site density.
  18. I haven't roamed on Verizon in almost a year, not since NV has pretty much hit the 90% completion mark.
