    I prefer not to root.

    On occasion I have a spreadsheet that I create on my laptop that needs to be mailed.

    Let's say there is no available wifi but I have a 3g connection.

    I was Briefly looking at the Kies app. Can I use that to transfer a spreadsheet file to my phone and attach it to email?

     

    Bluetooth? Cable? MicroSD card adapter?

    Very reliable. There are naysayers who complain that Sprint should have an all fiber LTE network. But that is not realistic. Microwave technologies have improved tremendously in the past 5 years as well. It is less reliable than fiber' date=' of course. But if you ever get a fiber line cut, the repair time is much longer than if you lose a microwave link.

    Ive noticed it heats up when its searching for a data signal...

    Im also fighting another issue right now....It almost seems like towers are fighting over my phones signal. Im between 2 towers at work, and working in a buikding where signal does not penetrate AT ALL (thats what she said) it would explain my constant disconnect and reconnect of 3G data. I dunno....

    I have issues where it wont reconnect to a remembered network. For example....I walk to get the mail...lose connection...walk back to the house...3G has taken over....wifi is still on....wont reconnect. I have to turn wifi off, then back on again to reconnect. Sometimes have to forget the network and let the phone rediscover it all over again.

    As a side note, subjectively this phone is comparable to, or better than, the Epic with regard to keeping/using a 3G or 1x signal. Voice calls connect very quickly, and data sessions seem solid enough. Then again, I live literally a block and a half from a Sprint rooftop cell site, though I no longer have near-line of sight when I'm in front of my apartment due to the new Petroleum Engineering building being constructed on-campus.

     

    I think pretty much all of those things are due to the faster processor and 2GB of RAM
