  1. I recall reading it being 45 days somewhere because they take breaks and don't work on weekends? So is it consecutive 3 weeks or 21 days of actual work, over a period of ~45 days?
  2. Anyone know the size of the battery? 2100mAh?
  3. I sold Sprint stock to get into Netflix. Worst mistake ever. About a week later, sprint went up 25% from q2 earnings and Netflix went down 20% from theirs. Lol steadily nflx has been going back up but sprint has been soaring since then. I see a good future for sprint and they've definite got the investments needed to pay for this lte rollout.
  4. I had this issue in phoenix Arizona. I lost my 3g icon on 3 phones and it did not return until about 35 minutes. It was only temporary. Have no idea if it's the signal here or if it's a nationwide hiccup.
  5. I'll be back there on Monday, so I'll try this!
  6. While I was waiting for my plane. I literally walked all the way across the airport and stayed 3g the entire time. Well, I decided to check my usage today and noticed I've used 22kb of 4g! Somewhere while my phone was in my pocket, it must've downloaded an email or something on 4g. I'm so sad that I didn't see it in action. I'll just have to wait until Jacksonville has lte.
  7. actually 200kBs on 3g isn't that bad. You're talking about kBs, not kbs, right?
  8. I guess it's a hit or miss. (you'll always find some places on any carrier that's slow.) but I've been all over the place last few days and here's the results from all of my tests. Ymmv Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  9. I'm in zip code 32259, but speeds here are consistently over 1mbps dl. Here's a speed test at my house. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  10. Miami is getting lte really soon. You'll be set for quite awhile. :-) Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  11. What is this? Sounds like a bad idea from Sprint... http://m.prnewswire.com/news-releases/free-mobile-broadband-now-with-national-footprint---sprint-joins-freedompop-to-expand-disruptive-service-across-united-states-162075745.html Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  12. This is mine at home. No network vision here yet either. :-) Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  13. Who won? I can't find a list at all.
  14. I'd say that looks like a Verizon tower. They have HUGE LTE panels near the top.
  15. Omggg Rob, do you have time machine so I can advance into the future of LTE coverage?
  16. Wimax at my house pulls 1.3mbps (I have to mod the Wimax settings on my device to even connect to it) and at work I get 13mbps DL and obviously 1.5 UL.
  17. You're in Dallas, they're probably working on your tower.
  18. I talked with a firefighter at the firehouse and they told me it's a radio tower. Sorry guys. :-( close thread please.
  19. Well, they never had it in the upcoming upgrades, but they did have it in the past 6 months upgrades. I do have a new tower in the area, but it's north about 20 miles.
  20. i can't tell, but I mapped it and listed the nearest tower. (The red is the nearest Sprint tower), the blue is where the new tower is located. I'm REALLY close to this tower which makes me very happy, if it's Sprint. I helped a friend move today and this morning on the way to her new house, I saw this tower being built! Anyone know if this is a Sprint tower being constructed or if there's a way to tell who's tower it really is? There's a 25% chance it's a Sprint tower, but AT&T and Verizon have really good coverage around it, so I'm assuming it's either T-Mobile or Sprint. EDIT: I called Sprint and they told me they have nothing in their systems. Bummer. They did mention that it's possible that their system hasn't been updated to reflect that information. We'll see. I'll keep taking pictures as much as I can and see once they put up the panels which carrier it is.
