  1. I heard they were going to pay sprint to help deploy their network. I'm not sure if that means it'll be quicker or just more cost efficient.
  2. I'm in no way saying sprint is slow at releasing lte, I'm just curious if light squared would be making the process faster or not? Also I read an article about the government allowing the same spectrum now, so is light squared back or did they go bankrupt?
  3. You've also got that pen...
  4. It works with hspa+ I believe, which is att and tmobile 4g. Although att is switching to lte now as their official 4g.
  5. Place is pretty weak signal as it is. Any news on Panama City, FL?
  6. Looks like they're pretty close to eachother that after a certain distance, you'd be connected to another tower. lol
  7. Not my pictures, but I found them interesting. All of them are in Conroe, TX.
  8. That sounds promising. Can't wait for LTE to hit my area!
  9. I didn't mind when people made fun of Sprint when they had the worst network and continued to let it be. But now that they have very competitive lte markets and are aggressively rolling out network vision at an expensive cost, my respect for then has jumped tremendously. It touches me the wrong way when people belittle sprints efforts when they're doing things right now.
  10. kinda low. -68 dBm is really good. You're LTE connection speeds don't dive until you get lower than -101 dBm, according to Robert.
  11. Well, I am getting 2.65 mbps on 3G, which I have never seen a faster Sprint 3G speed yet.
  12. Thank you for explaining that. RevC is coming out soon, do you think Sprint will jump on that or just focus 100% on LTE?
  13. But was wimax really better than RevB? It looks like wimax was a bad choice, just basing it on what's happened since it's release.
  14. The competitors went with hspa+, which is the game counterpart of evdo RevB. Anyone know why Sprint went the route of avoiding implementation?
  15. I honestly haven't seen a faster speed ever. (Even from other people.) On my GS2, I maxed at about 2.2mbps. The GS3 shows much stronger signal (probably PRL related, aswel.) But the stars are the towers in my area and the circle is my house. The Sprint tower to the southeast of my house is the one that's getting LTE first. I'm really hoping I'm inside range. EDIT: reason behind me making this thread is because if I go down the street (literally, about a football field), my speeds are .5 mbps. LOL I'm fortunate that my house is really good, I was just curious if the towers would be adjusted in any way that may hinder my house performance.
  16. I really do love my sprint gs3. And thanks Rob for the confirmation. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  17. Now I noticed Jax, FL is getting NV/LTE rollout at the same time. I thought the entire time they were doing "minor upgrades" in my area that it was network vision. Am I wrong? And if I'm pulling 2.6Mbps DL at my house, is it possible that when they put the new towers in that my speeds might go down if they tilt the panels a different angle?
  18. Is Sprint adding eHRPD anytime soon??? Is it the CDMA version of HSPAplus? I'm just assuming it's "3.5g", rather than 3G/4G?
  19. Any way to get a bigger and more detailed map of this? I can't exactly tell if a tower near me is getting LTE or not.
