  1. It seems like the best way to be able to sign into my sprint account is through your phone on the cellular network, weather it's the phones browser or a mobile hotspot. Still no luck getting to the order process though.
  2. Did anyone have any luck ordering through sprint yet?
  3. Same thing just happened for me on my iphone. It happens when on cellular connection, not on my home wifi.
  4. Or if the phone is jail broken, you can install Signal 2 to see everything at the same time.
  5. Update from New Berlin... It seems as though today LTE has finally made it to the tower on Calhoun. A very welcome improvement in my book considering I would consistently be roaming at my desk in April of last year and now i have LTE in the same spot!
  6. My personal choice would be a Forester. Subaru's are great when it comes to handling in all conditions and reliability. I am currently driving a '97 Outback with 356,000 miles and it's still running strong. It drives great in deep snow, but I can't speak much about mud. I have had times when the snow was so deep that when the door opens, it is actually pushing snow. I have yet to find another company that can compete with Subaru AWD.
  7. That used to be my home tower. Almost makes me wish I was back in my old apartment since I now live in such a dead spot that I need an Airave and I frequently drop calls going in and out of its coverage.
  8. I'm personally a mechanical engineer, but at my place of employment, the guys with computer science degrees that we hire write the software to run the equipment that we make. This is for large scale material handling systems like warehouses. The software they write also makes the whole system operate as efficiently as possible for the customer.
  9. I jail broke my 5 specifically so that I could load one of Digi's PRLs on my phone. The PRL works great and I haven't done much else to it since then.
  10. I tried it once and it worked well. Other user was also on Sprint.
  11. someone from North Wisconsin has been showing screen shots of B26 connections for a week or two now in the premier sponsor forums, also using an iphone.
  12. No LTE 800 anywhere in the Milwaukee market, only North Wisconsin. Also, until a post within the last day or two from Robert, there was none even remotely close to the Green Bay area which would explain why you couldn't find it.
  13. I have successfully done it. 1x800 works great along with EVDO here in Milwaukee. I used Digi's premier sponsor prl but there is also a thread with prls for regular sponsors (http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/3059-800smr-s4gru-sponsors-prls/). The first couple pages of this thread are also very helpful to read about what is needed before changing PRLs and directions on how to do it.
  14. Do you mean 513? I am using 512 because I have an Airave at home and don't have strong enough service yet (even with 1x800) to get rid of it. Hopefully I will be able to by the time NV 1.0 is finished. Edit: Nevermind, 502, 503 are the regular sponsor PRLs. The 512, 513 versions are in the premier sponsor section.
  15. I knew the software could be the same for many phones, I just thought loading of PRLs and other carrier specific info happened at activation, not all bundled into everyone's software. I guess you learn something new every day! Just the 5.
  16. I was surprised that I was able to go to the Verizon_LTE_US folder, copy the carrier.prl file from there and paste it in the Sprint folder, and Roam on Verizon. I am not still roaming on Verizon, just did it as a proof that I could get it to work. Edit: I'm not really surprised that I was able to roam on Verizon, more so surprised that a Verizon PRL was stored on a Sprint iPhone...
  17. I had the same problem when I was doing this for the first time on Friday night. A second reboot with prl push flag on and then reboot with prl push flag off solved the problem for me.
  18. I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this or if it has been mentioned before... I was just looking at Sprint's coverage maps (tailored to the HTC One Max so I could see Spark coverage) and I noticed that there was A LOT more white "no coverage" area on the map than i had previously seen. I then changed the device back to an iPhone 5s and a lot more data roaming coverage showed up to make the map as I previously remembered it (which continued to look the same as I looked at the G2 and Nexus 5. Since this clearly doesn't apply to all Spark devices, does the One max not have roaming coverage similar to all other Sprint devices or did Sprint make a mistake when they made the map for the HTC One max? I was specifically looking at the northern Wisconsin area and mid-west general when I noticed this situation. Edit: I'm aware the 5s is not a Spark device, just used it for comparison.
  19. I think this may be in a different spot on their site from where you were looking but it addresses your concern (#4): " Zact charges your credit card at the beginning of each month. During the month, you can adjust your plan as you go or wait and see how much you use. You’ll never get charged without knowing because we will alert you when you are close to reaching your limits. Then you can choose to buy more (or not) and adjust your plan right from your device. "
  20. I'm in the same situation as you. I go through that area pretty frequently but I didn't rush to get a tri-band device because I never thought it would be in our area so soon since we had to wait so long after 1900 LTE started rolling out for that to show up.
  21. I saw that ting posted a blog post about this last night https://ting.com/blog/ting-goes-for-three-tri-band-lte/
