By the looks of the sponsor maps, no LTE sites are active but the NV 3G is running (and it looks like it is installed on most of the sites there just by a quick glance between a couple maps) meaning the equipment is installed but not turned on yet for one reason or another. You never know how long it could actually be until sites start having LTE turned on though I would guess that there should as least be a few up within that 90 day period.

Can you post a link to that thread here please? For some reason I can never seem to find what I am searching for on this site... -

This thread shows the number of updates for each market and is usually updated at the same time as the maps. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/3913-network-vision-site-acceptance-report-updates/page-5&do=findComment&comment=252433 -

Can anyone tell me if Goodman Networks is doing work as a contractor for Sprint? Due to some unfortunate circumstances I am stuck staying in the La Quinta near the 43 - Mooreland Rd tower (3G service is great btw) and I noticed a truck in the parking lot with that name printed on it. A simple google search brings up their webpage that looks exactly like someone Sprint would be using for deployment. Has anyone seen them around before? -

The Calhoun tower and I43-Beloit Rd were both marked as 3G complete! I knew something was different today. I can't believe how much better NV signal reaches compared to legacy equipment. -

I have an iPhone so no LTE Discovery app for me. I can confirm through the field test app that I am not on 1x800. -

Does anyone know if the tower on Calhoun in New Berlin has new equipment installed yet? I know its not accepted yet but I think it might be turned on now due to the fact that I am able to hold 3 bars of EVDO (-99 db) at my desk at work when I previously had a hard time hanging on to 1x and would frequently switch to 1x on Verizon. If this is how much stronger every tower with the new equipment gets, maybe I can get rid of my Airave! -

I picked up LTE again for a short time today near National and Sunnyslope in New Berlin where I haven't seen it in quite a few weeks. Must be signs of good things soon to come! -
I haven't noticed issues with my 5 on iOS7. I can say that Apple replacements are all brand new while a replacement through Sprint is likey a refurb if they have any available.

Has anyone ever seen Extended (roaming) and LTE lit up at the same time?? This happened to me last night in the Waukesha area. I have a screen shot i can post later of the lock screen showing what I'm explaining and a portion of the Field Test app. -

I picked up LTE on National Ave right by Culvers today in New Berlin. Didn't get a chance to use it once I noticed it though since I drove out of the LTE signal pretty quickly (which unfortunately seems to be the case for Sprint service in general in this area). -
Sprint LTE Coverage Maps via Sensorly

I'm obviously not the developer, but i don't think anything in that link gives the information that is needed to make it possible to map with the iPhone. -

There will be towers closer, they are just not upgraded yet. -
I agree that it is disappointing Apple didn't come through with a tri-band device but the statements that these phones WILL be selling in 2017 are not necessarily true. If Apple had stuck with their previous trends today, i would have no argument. Instead, today they switched up the pattern and removed the 5 from the product line. Now any new LTE iPhones will be 800 and 1900 ( yes still having the 4s on 3G is disappointing). The point I am trying to reach is that Apple may surprise us one year from now and not sell the 5C or 5S as they are currently going to be built. Hopefully they are changed up slightly to include more bands but at this point, no one can really be sure.

I am pretty disappointed with the NV upgrades in Manitowoc. At my fiancé's apartment, I used to regularly have 4 to 5 bars of service with consistently fast data speeds. Since the acceptance of 3G and 800 in the area, I am stuck at 1 bar (-106 db) of 1x. Occasionally the 3G icon will show up representing EVDO but that rarely lasts for more than a couple seconds. Has this happened to anyone else?

Well the question isn't if the network will get better, its when. And the answer to that is Sprint is currently working on it. Middleton currently has a 4G accepted tower and I'm guessing it would cover your home. Take a look at sensorly.com and you can get an idea of what other users signal strengths were in your area. Two things to remember when using sensorly: 1) The maps show only what other users have mapped so just because an area doesn't show LTE, doesn't mean it isn't there. 2) The LTE coverage that is in Middleton seems to only be coming from one tower currently that has gone live in the past few weeks so 4G coverage is guaranteed to increase when more towers go live. If you can spare a few bucks, consider becoming a sponsor of this site. You get access to maps showing all of the towers in your area that have been upgraded. Even if you can't afford or don't want to become a sponsor, hang around the site a little and read some of the other threads about the future plans for the network. I have learned TONS by reading through many threads here. -
I'm curious what is causing the progress in Brown county to be moving slower that the rest of the area. Other parts of the market seem to have towers popping up quite regularly yet there are currently only 3 - 3G accepted sites in Brown county (near Denmark, New Franken, and Bayshore). Obviously there is work being done already since there have been blips of LTE reported in Green Bay, it just suprises me how far progress is behind in Brown county compared to the rest of the North Wisconsin market.
