I'd love to see sites go live that fast, so far though i haven't seen it. Perhaps as more and more complete they will go on faster?

I remember reading that acceptance schedule for Ericsson markets somewhere on the site a while back. I've never seen a truck marked Samsung out at a tower. I have seen Goodman networks, They could be contracting inspections from Samsung. The pattern i have noticed is; Techsico completes the tower, Ericsson appears, 3rd party appears, Tower goes live. ( So far it takes 1 month from the time i see a tower with antennas to the time i see 4G on my phone. )

Thought it went: Ericsson > Samsung> Sprint. For the inspection/acceptance schedule, i thought all 3 have to green light the tower before it goes live.

I've watched them on a few towers in Tulsa. They are speedy,I'll be interested to pit their LTE network against Sprint's.

T-mobile is re-configuring for 1900 as well as installing LTE equipment. The 1900MHZ HSPA is active in parts of Tulsa and most of OKC. LTE is not on for T-Mo yet here or almost anywhere else in the country. Side note i was able to connect to LTE inside my classroom with a window in TCC, nabbed it on Sensorly. Serving cell was 26, so this was picked up from aprox 6 miles & through an exterior wall.

Network Vision/LTE - Missouri Market (includes St. Louis)

I seem to get my best speeds off the towers at about 3/4 of a mile. Being too close will get you overshot.- 8,814 replies

If you become a sponsor you get access to all the Sprint locations. You will then be able to check your sites to see if any new equipment has arrived, it's really the best way.

Don't count on it. Without a DAS it is still a major strain on the nearest tower; and performance will vary depending on usage intensity from other Sprint subs in the crowd. That's not to say you won't get data, but it will most likely be much inferior to the typical LTE experiences you're soon to enjoy!- 8,814 replies

If you are in an area that already has LTE and you are due for an upgrade don't wait around for 800MHZ to come online, go get whatever phone you like right now and enjoy some super fast data. There probably won't be any dual/Tri band devices till 2nd or 3rd QTR of this year and it could be late 2013/early 2014 before we see 800 LTE enabled on the network.

Not sure if there is any correlation, but the day we got our first LTE signals in Tulsa i had just left one of our Clearwire sites that had crews. About 15 minutes later i had my first 4G icon.- 8,814 replies

Sounds a lot like the bundle sale of landrover & jaguar to Tata Motors. -
Should Sprint just acquire US Celluar
Mobilesolutions replied to IamMrFamous07's topic in General Topics
They spent nearly $500 million dollars to to buy the portion of USCC that benefits Sprint most financially, i believe it was imperative at the time to buy USCC because of spectrum license conflictions specifically in the Chicago & STL market. Assuming the valuation remains constant id value the rest of USCC at no more than 4 Billion. USCC would have to lose all hope internally to sell for that. And Sprint should never pay it. -

Samsung has a cult following much in the way that Apple did, pretty soon they will have folks carrying around a phabletop, the original phone/tablet/laptop all in one. I'd rather see a large midsize phone with Tri-band Lte support.
-
Take a pic it would help out a lot. T-Mobile has been using 2 for their Lte build here,I've seen some AT&T with 2 I believe .

No those are the legacy cabinets unfortunately. The NV cabinets i've seen are 2 very wide cabinets & also a little skinny stand-alone.
