  1. If so, that would be the very first time they have crossed a market line and not be working in the rest of the market. So it seems unlikely. Also, we have had confirmation of work going on somewhere in almost every 2nd Round market, except for Southern CA, Pacific NW, Michigan and Long Island. Since the 2nd Round is well under way, it wouldn't be accurate to say Missouri is Round 1.5 if starting now. Robert

  4. I don't think it is too far out of line. Seems like we are seeing movement on the "Purgatory Markets." Markets that appeared to slot between 2nd and 3rd Round, like Oklahoma, Missouri, West Kentucky, Milwaukee, Cleveland, Phoenix and Tucson. We have now had good field confirmations from Louisville and Sprint's acknowledgement of work in Missouri, this makes me optimistic for these other markets also stuck in purgatory. Robert
  5. Depends on where you go. Verizon 3G is not faster than Sprint in all places here in Northern New Mexico. Sprint 3G is faster in Los Alamos and in some parts of Santa Fe. I have a VZW work phone and hotspot, so I compare Sprint and VZW head to head all the time. Sprint's Network Vision nationwide upgrade is bringing drastically improved 3G. In completed places it meets or exceeds VZW 3G performance. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner
  6. Joplin is in the Missouri market. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/530-network-vision-site-map-arkansas-kansas-missouri-oklahoma-markets/ Robert
  7. I do finally see the first Miami market blip on Sensorly: http://www.sensorly.com/fullscreen/map/4G/US/USA/Sprint/lte_310sprint#q=carol_city,florida Robert
  8. It is the point that you ask if you are misinformed about when the next quarter is that I took offense to. But I am over it now. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner

  10. No fighting. Joplin is a part of the Missouri market deployment. AJ's points are valid and appreciated, as always. But what he said is not contradictory in any way. Robert

  12. And someone already logged it on Sensorly too. Awesome. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner
  13. What is your point? Your post makes it sound that since they are in Fairfield/Vallejo now, that they would be in Dixon/Davis next week. I just wanted to make the point that the SF Bay deployment is completely separate and will end at Vacaville in Solano County. And even though the UCV may start in January, it will likely even be later than that. I was giving the absolute best case scenario. I'm busy enough, I don't need your condescension Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner

  16. Unfortunately, no. Those look like AT&T on top. The ones that look like Sprint are legacy panels. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner
  17. Only localized to Dallas and San Antonio? I guess it's possible. But I have not heard that myself. Houston sure seems to be moving along fine. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner
  18. I called Sprint Customer Service and yelled at the underpaid person on the other line how I hate Sprint and that Sprint sucks because I bought an LG Viper on opening day and I still don't have LTE in my small town 300 miles off the interstate. I mean, why did they allow me to buy a LTE device even though they don't offer LTE yet? I mean, that should be illegal. They should have smacked my hand and said, "No!" Selling me hardware I want and all. That just pisses me off. But the CSR just told me that all the towers within 100 miles of me have already been upgraded to LTE and they are going to turn them all on at once on October 16th. So LTE must be coming! 19. Not quite. They are only working in the SF Bay and South Bay markets. The Upper Central Valley Market is not quite ready to start. The UCV planning, design, permitting and scheduling is completely separate from the Bay Area market and started later. I think the earliest we could see any meaningful activity in the Sacto/Stockton/Reno areas is the very end of the year. But likely not until into 2013. In the Network Vision Maps - All Markets thread in the Sponsors forum you can see where the sites are for each market. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner
  20. Thanks. But the biggest problem for me is protecting Sources. Sources only give me info because they think that only my eyes are going to see it. However, I appreciate the offer. And if there is a way to integrate your assistance in a meaningful way, I will take you up on the offer. Thanks again. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner
