With no verifications, I was starting to get worried. Thanks for the update. This is exciting! Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

There was an article that came out a few months ago where Sprint was going to be hiring some Contractors directly to help expedite Network Vision because the main Contractors were struggling to handle all the work. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

Yes, this is true. You purchased an LTE device in unlaunched LTE market. Only about 20% of the Metro Area has Sprint LTE coverage. And it will grow a little bit week after week. If you cannot live with legacy 3G data in the interim you have two options. Get a WiMax hotspot to supplement your One for a few months. You can get them off contract and pretty darn cheap now. Or you can leave. I understand your frustration. I had to get hotspots from other carriers to use in my area, because I'm in a non LTE and non WiMax market. However, the purpose of this thread is to talk about deployment in the Minnesota market, and not that you are unhappy with your legacy 3G data experience. We wish you the best in whatever decision you make to meet your needs. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

I'm not sure what is up with your unit. I tried ##33284# and then entered 777468 on the lock code request on my GS3 and it worked fine. It also worked fine just now on my Note 2 and Victory. Does your phone have a custom ROM? Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

SBA is a nationwide tower owner. SBA is who did the GMO site next to my house. They were contracted directly by Sprint, outside of their OEM Contract. They will do the cabinet installs and the RRU installs at GMO sites. At full build sites, they just will do the cabinets installs. They mostly only work on SBA owned towers. But occasionally will do work on other towers when requested. They also mostly do GMO sites. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

If a city has unrealistic expectations, they will just make them last. Also, Sprint is in compliance with the FCC. They don't have to add LTE or do NV upgrades if they don't want to. I don't know what you're talking about them getting into trouble. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

Actually, Tampa and SW Florida have not had as many accepted sites lately as they've been having. Even Miami/West Palm is not accepting as many sites. Jacksonville is the only market in the state that is still cruising along like normal. However, this has happened before. If it continues for two more weeks, then I would call it a trend that is alarming. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

Delay? There's a delay? I didn't know that. I only see evidence of lack of accepted sites from inspectors. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

The range is two blocks to ten miles. Each site is specifically engineered. There is no answer to your question. Every site is unique. In urban areas, they engineer the cells to be very small to serve a dense customer base. In rural flat areas they can set up a tower to serve a 10 mile diameter in the best circumstances. Everything else is somewhere in between. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

Ericsson has a nationwide contract to provide maintenance to the entire network...legacy and Network Vision equipment. At a NV site, any work that is not covered by OEM warranty, would be the responsibility of Ericsson, or future Sprint Maintenance Contractor should Ericsson not win the next maintenance contract period. Just think Milwaukeeans (Milwaukeeites?), with all the people leaving Sprint in droves in SE Wisconsin, you'll have the new blazing network all to yourselves! I cannot make any excuses for Sprint in Milwaukee. They are just plain late. Much later than originally planned. And since it is a Samsung market, it confuses me. Samsung is the most aggressive of all the OEM's. They are already starting or started some 4th Round markets and plans to be starting all markets by early Summer. Why does Milwaukee continue to languish? I don't know. It's painful to watch from here. There has to be a specific problem there preventing a start. I'd love to know what it is. I've reached out to a Samsung engineer who has provided us info in the past. Hopefully he'll have some info, even though he works on another region. I'll report back should I find out more. I do believe early work has started in the market. But will not feel confident without you guys starting to see activity in the field. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
