  1. Yes. When a site is converted to Network Vision standards, they install 4G LTE and new 1x Voice/3G EVDO equipment at the same time. In most instances though, both the 4G LTE and 3G cannot be brought online at the same time. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  2. The full build sites will be installed with 800MHz. The GMO's will not get 800 until they are converted to full builds. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  3. LTE fireups will occur long before all the 3G is complete. The first LTE sites will probably start to live in Tucson in the next 20-60 days. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk

  5. You make it sound like Sprint is your buddy, charging you as little as it can afford to in order to help you out. People thought the same of Apple: "they'll never be as greedy as Microsoft" Once Sprint is in a stronger position, they'll behave just like the "evil duopoly", as some here have called ATT+VZW. Sprint is a company: it exists to make money for its owners by charging the maximum that its customers will stomach. Once ATT+VZW start facing real danger from S+TMUS, they'll change their tune. Example: AIO wireless is a really good deal, better than T-Mobile if you value coverage vs LTE but ATT only offers it because of competition from T-Mobile. Why do you think Sprint currently offers and previously instituted and heavily marketed unlimited data? Because it wants to help you out and has plenty of network capacity? They did it out of economic/marketing necessity. T-Mobile got rid of unlimited data some time ago and then they brought back unlimited data; why did they get rid of it in the first place? Because they were running out of capacity? Maybe but probably not. They thought they could get away with it but their competitive position deteriorated perilously and they brought it back. Maybe you didn't mean it the way I interpreted it but there plenty who do think that way; they're fools. Although I do not disagree with your points, it was definitely a strong response to the comment you quoted. Eeek. I would like to continue to support Sprint myself. Because in the current market conditions, doing so helps competition and keeps the duopoly in check. And if and when things occur as you say, I would no longer support Sprint. But rather would support the carrier which will best provide competition. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  6. I have 5,000 shares of CLWR myself. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk

  8. In the next Running List update we plan to have a market NV complete percentage and a LTE complete percentage. It will help people determine exactly how complete their market is. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  9. In our Sponsor section it shows maps of every Sprint market, including Asheville. You can see which sites have been upgraded and which ones are still left to be upgraded. For more I do about how to become a S4GRU Sponsor, you can visit this link: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/1195-information-about-s4gru-sponsorship-levels-and-how-to-become-a-sponsor/ Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

  11. I'm still getting them. Have all morning since the reboot. Maybe go back and check your notification settings? Robert
  12. I blasted this on my computer speakers, and all my kids came running in to witness the skreeching car accident they thought was occurring. Good times! Robert
  13. The quoting is different in the text editor box. But how it appears in a posted post is not different. Except there is now a back arrow on the right side of the quote that will take you to the original comment. That's kind of neat, I suppose. Robert
  14. This one seems to just occur in Tapatalk. It's not happening in the standard Browser. Let me check some more settings. Because I do have it configured right in IP Board settings to not nest quotes. Robert
  15. I think I have figured out how to restore this. Confirm that it has returned when you get a chance. Robert
  16. FORUM RUNNER UPDATE: I have spent three hours trying to get Forum Runner fully restored and get rid of the "Page does not exist." Unfortunately, it's not going to be fixed soon. I have talked with Forum Runner, and they say their software is not fully working with the newest two versions of IP Board. They are suffering through it to try to resolve it. However, they haven't resolved it in the past two months. So I'm not optimistic it will be fixed soon. There is a workaround, though, that will at least allow you to keep using Forum Runner. If you go into the app's settings, change the following to be: Items Per Page: 20 items per page When Opening a Thread: Jump to First Page Thread Summary Shows: First Post in Thread Although these are funky and annoying settings, it will get rid of the "Page does not exist" error. One good thing is that Tapatalk and Tapatallk HD seem to working better and a lot of the bugs in that app seem to have been corrected by the upgrade. If you are not able to handle the Forum Runner workaround, then consider downloading the Tapatalk app or you can use the S4GRU Mobile site. Sorry for the inconvenience, however it is out of our control. Hopefully Forum Runner will figure this out. Robert

  18. Yes, a site called InsideSprintNow was shut down last year by Sprint. Robert
  19. Post a screen shot please. I don't see them. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  20. I wonder if it will fix the editing problem? Let's see. Now I have added this line and we will see if it butchers the edit. EDIT: Hmmm...maybe Tapatalk likes this version of IP Board better? Seems like editing is working without problems. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  21. Tapatalk was reinstalled. Seems to be working for me now. Let me know if you guys experience any other Tapatalk issues. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
