  1. Sounds dirty when you say it. Robert
  2. OK. Someone cares about Under Armor in their cell phone provider. I stand corrected. Robert
  3. I agree. We are so far ahead in the news here at S4GRU that we are never really excited or surprised with info by the time Sprint officially announces it. The only things we get surprised about is trivial stuff, like Under Armor. Robert
  4. It's their way of saying, "Don't make your decisions based on internet trolls. Come try it for yourself. Offer not available in Baton Rouge, Sacramento and Honolulu." Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  5. Memberships are free. And as admirable as it is, using Sensorly does not earn S4GRU comped sponsorships. Sponsorships sponsor the site with funds to stay online. It takes money to stay online. Supplying data to third party websites does not help S4GRU stay online. I'm sure Sensorly appreciates it though. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  6. Dan looks so weird in a polo shirt. Going casual can be good. But in this case he looks like he belongs behind the Geek Squad counter at Best Buy. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  7. You are a walking weather alert. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  8. If you do not include your screen name on your donation I use your PayPal email address and match them up to an existing S4GRU account. If that does not match any accounts, I email the PayPal email address asking them to provide me their S4GRU account name. Please send me a PM of the PayPal email address you used so we can get you upgraded. Thanks. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro
  9. In the places I go, VZW EVDO is just getting downright awful. I don't think they're doing any CAPEX on it anymore. And I guess I don't blame them. But my average VZW 3G speeds are now 50-250kbps. I thought by this point with so many LTE devices out there and 700MHz coverage nearly ubiquitous that EVDO burdens would be getting lighter, not heavier. They may be removing EVDO carriers for future refarming in Band 5 for VoLTE. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro

  11. I disagree that B41 is "only appropriate" in high density areas. It's appropriate everywhere on every site if there are backup lower frequencies that can be overlaid with it as a fallback. It will work quite well. Probably 90% of their customers live/work in towns near cell sites. Vermont is more than ski slopes and dairy farms. If they installed B41 on all their sites, it would provide a very good B41 high speed experience in most coverage area. And they can use B12/B26 as a fallback. They are not going to get anywhere near 100Mbps on their B12 holdings. Sprint is offering the use of its spectrum and device ecosystem with these new rural partnerships. Our members have lameneted the loss of rural partners for years. This is exactly what we have been asking for. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro

  14. I never expected this thread to be more than 2 posts. Robert
  15. I had to read that twice to get the joke. Robert

  17. When you're here, you're family. Now give me some more of those darn breadsticks!!!
  18. Most of this thread has been about off topic crap. Especially John Legere and Tmo, which has nothing to do with the event on Monday. Robert
  19. Now 28-29 Mbps is kinda slow. If that's the case, my VZW LTE is always kinda slow. Robert
  20. If I'm not driving or sleeping, it usually takes a few minutes. Otherwise, it will be upgraded when I get to my destination or I wake up. Robert
  21. I hope so. However, I have heard of Sprint sending generic NV texts/messages to nTelos-land customers in the past. Robert
  22. I can't speak of everywhere, but at least within the subject of New Mexico like we were talking, Verizon and AT&T are often not colocated with Sprint/Tmo. And all the instances where VZW and Sprint were colocated in rural areas, VZW used microwave. VZW used A LOT of microwave in New Mexico. Robert
